This strikes a nice balance between support and wearability. It's not the most supportive ankle brace I've used, but it's much easier to fit into regular shoes. I ordered this ankle brace due to doing a decent amount of outdoor activities. I hike, ruck, and spend a lot of time on uneven terrain, and I've unfortunately found myself needing ankle support from time to time after rolling an ankle. I've used single piece ankle supports in the past and have generally been happy with them. The biggest drawback is that they can be bulky and sometimes make footwear choices more difficult. This design is noticeably slimmer, which gives you a lot more flexibility when it comes to the shoes you can wear with it. The trade off is that support is going to depend somewhat on how you apply the straps. A one piece brace tends to stay exactly where it was designed to be, while a system like this relies a little more on user adjustment. That also raises some questions about long term wear and tear since the support comes from multiple pieces working together. In actual use, though, it performed well. I could definitely feel additional support, especially when it came to limiting some of the downward flexion of the foot. It's not an extreme amount of support, but it's noticeable and helpful. For me, this fits into the category of a brace that's great to have available for certain situations. If I had a significant ankle sprain and could only choose one support device, I'd probably reach for something more substantial. But for lighter support, recovery, daily use, or situations where footwear matters, this is a solid option and certainly better than having no support at all. The price feels fair for what you're getting. Comfortable, easy to wear, and supportive enough that I'll likely keep it in rotation for hiking, walking, and those times when my ankles need a little extra help.

These combination compression socks; ankle braces are perfect for a robust workout in the gym without restricting movement. After wearing them a few times, I now forget they are there when I am exercising. They are comfortable, easy to put on and take off, and protect my recovering ankle components from re-injury. See my photos for details of the socks and me putting them on my feet. I feel the extra support and the compression is always helpful to minimize my feet from swelling when on them for hours. The reinforcement on the heel is well engineered and does not create a seam that is noticed when wearing. In addition to wearing them at the gym I also wear them when mountain bike riding. They provide my ankles with a little bit of support that prevents ankle fatigue in the middle of a long, rough ride. PROS Effective for me in the gym and on the mountain bike. Simple to use, effectively designed. They breathe so my feet are comfortable. CONS They are not machine washable. Urgh. RECOMMENDATION – I use these socks and straps on a daily basis. Hand washing isn’t my choice but for the relief they provide it is worth my time. I am recommending them to friends and family.

I really like that the straps aren't attached to the socks. This means I can reposition them depending on where I need support, and can even use them on different parts of the body if I need to. I was able to use the strap to secure a wrap on my hand that was coming off - so it's nice and versatile. However, the level of support from the socks alone isn't much (at least not for me with size Womens 6 US size feet). However, I may use them just for wearing if I want a little warmth but free toes when wearing sandals.

I really wanted to like these, especially since the material feels soft and comfortable right out of the package. The compression is light, and the sock itself seems well made. That said, I do think I may have received a size smaller than what my measurements called for, so that could be part of why it felt more snug than expected. If I had the correct size, I think the compression would probably feel even lighter. The biggest issue for me is that this did not feel like a true ankle brace. The straps do add some extra support, but not enough to give me real stability during activity. Even when I pulled them very tight, it still felt more like a compression sock with straps than an actual brace. Tightening them that much also made me worry about circulation, which was not something I wanted to deal with. Overall, the quality seems decent and the comfort is there, but the support just was not enough for what I expected. If you want something soft with light compression, this may work for you. If you are looking for a brace that gives real ankle stability, I would not recommend this one.

Great fitting for ankle support. It’s a light compression so it’s easy to slide on over your feet. I like that it has separate straps so you can adjust the tension around your ankle. I like that they had instructions on how to use the braces. I got a size large. I'm female and wear a size 8 1/2 shoe. I use these to give my ankle support when I mow my lawn. I have a lot of hills and rough terrain. My ankles tend to twist and stretch, making it so uncomfortable mowing the lawn. I put a pair of socks on first, then slide the braces on my foot. The straps help keep everything in place. I can still put my works boots on over them. I find these so useful for my needs. It gives me support and keeps my ankles from overextending them. So glad I found these. Such a great price and terrific value. I can definitely recommend getting them.

I like the open‑front design on this ankle brace. Most compression sleeves cover the toes, which just makes everything feel cramped and warm, but this one leaves the front open so it stays breathable and more comfortable for longer wear. Fit and size were good for me. The sleeve has enough stretch to slide on easily without fighting it, and once it’s in place it feels snug without being too tight. It doesn’t bunch up inside shoes, and the open‑toe design helps it sit naturally around the front of the foot. Ease of use is solid. It’s simple to put on, and the strap is straightforward to wrap — though I’m still not fully confident in how much support that strap actually adds. For light use, like sitting at my desk in my home office and rolling my foot over a tennis ball, it does help relieve some tension. One thing I wasn’t impressed with is the extra heel padding. The listing really oversells it. In reality, it’s just a slightly thicker spot in the fabric — not enough to add meaningful cushioning or support. The care instructions say no machine washing or drying, so it needs to be hand‑washed, air‑dried, and no fabric softener. Not difficult, but definitely something to keep in mind if you prefer low‑maintenance gear. Overall, it’s breathable, fits comfortably, and is easy to use. The heel padding and strap aren’t as strong as advertised, but for light support and daily wear, it’s still a decent option.
