    • Would have loved to like it
Product arrived on time and packed well. Ripped truck radio apart and hooked in the new one, assembled dash again and started the truck to a dead radio. I’ve installed several radios in my day none never didn’t work. Took dash apart and checked harnesses and everything else tested a few times and nothing. Proceeded to put my stock radio back in and close everything up. Requested a replacement that arrived quickly and again packaged well. Again took dash apart, stock radio out, hooked up new replacement one and nothing, tried removing accessories thinking maybe they shorting it out and still nothing. Even tried the first radio thinking maybe it was the harness and still nothing. I’ve spent way too much time on this simple radio swap. Look elsewhere if you want a radio that works. From the other reviews I’m not the only one that received a dead unit. I’m not sure if the harness is wired wrong or what’s going on but the quality just isn’t there. Sucks that I had to rip the dash apart so many times I should have known better. On to the next brand. ... show more

This is an excellent tech upgrade for your older model truck. The installation is a breeze with the included wiring harness (supports CanBus). The radio also has super convenient buttons that activate specific components - push button access to your navigation software of choice, a physical button to get to the 'home' scree, etc. It has some nice, sensible design features I don't find in a lot of these 'built for specific model' stereos. The radio itself has a bright, responsive touchscreen, and it really complements the interior of the truck. It will support a backup camera (not included, but readily available), and includes a GPS antenna. With a comparatively nominal investment, in an hour or two you can give your truck and amazing tech upgrade. It's a great kit! Recommended! ... show more

    • Super easy install and much better than a dashboard mount solution
Super easy to get installed in my 2008 F350 SD. Came with all the required harnesses so it was a plug and play operations. Install is nice and clean with no gaps and I love that it is so much easier to see vs the one I had stuck on my dash and susceptible to to more sun glare. Wireless CarPlay operation works very well and sounds great running through the speakers without needing the Line In solution I had before. Sound quality it good, but a little lower power output than the stock head unit so not quite as "loud". For the price is it a HUGE improvement over the stock 08 head unit. Setting up the steering wheel controls was easy so everything is working just as before. I do kind of wish it came with a backup camera as it supports one. ... show more

    • Out of the box it didn't turn on
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with this. Aside from the fact that after installing it, it doesn't turn on, it's got a couple other issues as well. 1) the antenna extender didn't fit onto the factory antenna cable. 2) the wires in the wire harnesses are a very small gauge- I honestly believe that is why my unit never turned on 3) the harness connectors are poor quality. 4) the instructions were subpar. Great explanation of all the features of the unit, but very little info on installation of the unit. It's not all bad though. If you get a unit that works you'll find that: 1) it fits perfectly for a Ford F-150. 2) installation is actually very straightforward. I was really looking forward to this, but unfortunately, I can't recommend it. ... show more

the touchscreen integrates seamlessly with my Ford F150's audio. I can still control my radio stations, and connectivity options. It also supports Bluetooth, USB, and auxiliary inputs, providing connectivity for Android and IPhone.
