Other reviews were encouraging so we had high hopes but were disappointed. What we found was that even on the lowest settings, it became uncomfortably hot on the skin, even though we were using the continuous circling motion as instructed. Also, the hard probe end was uncomfortable going over or around boney joint areas such as elbows, hands, ankles. I gave it a few stars because it was neatly and cleanly packaged and in new condition. It may provide some relief to large muscles such as thighs, maybe backs. The relief may only be from heat, however, which could be achieved with other methods. There was nothing to indicate that there was any ultrasonic therapy occurring. Summary: a good idea, seems to need quite a bit of refining.

Easy to use, aup we functional for oain manage, you will feel pain relief so quick, follow the instructions, is light weight so you can use on your back for yourself you can some heat and level as you want and dont pay more for therapy massage

If you’ve ever had ultrasound treatment, this is not it. Maybe my wand was dysfunctional, but it seemed to be brand new, well packaged, and undamaged. Other reviews have expressed similar results, so buy at your own risk. Removed from package, plugged it in, applied the gel and worked the wand in circular motions on the skin. After a minute or two the wand head started to get warm, like a weak clothes iron, but there was no ultrasound activity that I could feel at all. I’ve had ultrasound done when in physical therapy recovering from a shoulder injury. My wife has had it done at the chiropractor. It’s something substantial that you can feel deep down in your muscles, like they’re vibrating into jello. This doesn’t even attempt that. Look somewhere else for muscle pain relief.

The metal piece gets to hot for the skin. Only the heat is evident. It is too hot to use and am going to refund it.
