I have been an avid user of journals/planners for decades, this one is by FAR my favorite, I knew as soon as I saw it that I would love it, and Im on my second one now. Yes, its expensive, but for me this is a nice luxury spend that feels like a worthwhile investment in myself. (And it lasts 3 months, I spent $50 at a stadium on a pizza and 2 margaritas and that only lasted 2 hrs.) The format is clean and logical, and just the right balance between detailed enough without being overkill. I love that it helps me focus on 10 'goals' at a time, and that I can start at any date I want (although the older version had 12 goals I noticed). I love that the lines are small and efficient. I was surprised to find this version is easier to write in than the spiral version. I like taking the time to really be intentional with what I want and how Im going to get from A to B. The weekly preview is great for preparing mentally for the week ahead on Sunday, and the daily pages have a notes section AND are great for maximizing your lists and leftover minutes here and there. But beyond productivity, this journal for me is about alignment, about being intentional and correcting those little ways I get mindlessly off track. A great planner. I like the quality. It could have more project oriented pages, but you can get those from Michael Hyatt’s website. Read Your Best Year Ever to get the most out of goal planning.

    • This Planner Is Changing My Life
The media could not be loaded. I needed to get control of my super busy life. I balance two careers, and I'm trying to be a better person. Aren't we all? This planner gave me my life back. That sounds dramatic, but it's true. Focusing on the three big things to do in a day took off the pressure. Also, if I already have three huge items that day, I can't take on another one. Must reschedule. Assessing each week, what worked and what didn't, in the format Michael Hyatt sets up, is IMMENSELY helpful. GO TO THE INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEOS AT THE SITE ON THE FIRST PAGE OF THE PLANNER. It takes a couple of hours to set the planner up and to watch all the instructional videos, but if you don't do that, then you are basically throwing your money away. The setup is key. However, this planner is only for a quarter. That's by design and is a fantastic way to assess your progress, but that means this is an EXPENSIVE planner. No way to get around that (except that it's a lot cheaper if you go directly to Michael Hyatt's site). However, I made at least an extra $2,000 in just two weeks of using it. Probably not the typical result. Ha! It is well worth it for me, and I will never switch to another planner. It may not be for you, but I would at least give it a try. ** I don't work for or with Michael Hyatt and have no reason to write this review other than I want everyone to use it, so they never stop making it. ... show more

I found this planner very helpful in structuring goals and tasks. It really helped me advance projects and get through the distractions of an overly long to-do list. My main disappointment is the low quality paper that is used. My fountain pens have issues with both bleed through and feathering, depending slightly on which brand of ink i happened to be using. This may also be an issue for other pen or marker types that use more liquid ink. For a planner product at this price point, I would like a higher quality paper before purchasing this again. Otherwise I'd be forced to change pens just for this planner. ... show more

    • One week in and seeing a difference

I really enjoy the layout of this planner. Every night before bed, I’ve planned my next day out within about five minutes. Doing this has really decreased my anxiety by having a firm plan in place. While I keep a very detailed digital calendar and notes, for some reason writing down tasks is more cathartic for me. I also like the option to add a win for the day. It forces me to end on a positive note instead of looking back negatively on my day. I haven’t used the goal planning feature yet because, frankly, I need to carve out space to dedicate that amount of brain space.
