ok, so the only thing I didn't like was that the instructions were clearly translated or written by someone who doesn't have a clear understanding of english. Plus lines like : "Use the product well" is a bit weird. That said, This thing rocks. The voltage is consistent. It's actually really hard to find a charger who's stability in the output is clean. A lot of charges will mess a battery up with spiking voltages. It feels cheap, it really does, but if you take a look at the guts, this thing has everything you need and not anything else. Simple, but extremely well put together. Plenty of room for cooling. The voltage range is surprising but every voltage I metered, was consistent the entire time I read them and I did so for about 1 minute on each voltage. The smart capabilities are really good too. Automatic voltage detection, auto clean up and restore for batteries. Imagine having to slow charge a battery, til it gets to a point where it'll hold a charge, and then going with a regular setting. The smart utility handles that. Overall, great buy, especially for the price point. I mean, you add a few accents to the cover, like reinforce it with a plastic outer structure and you could easily sell this for 4 times what you're paying for now.

This charger just didn't cut it for my 8V golf cart batteries. I was hoping to charge them, but after hooking it up, nothing happened. A quick check revealed the likely culprit: the batteries were completely dry. That's probably why this charger couldn't bring them back to life. On a brighter note, I decided to try it out on my 12V motorcycle battery just to see, and it topped it off perfectly. So, while it's a no-go for my golf cart (at least with dry batteries), it seems to handle a standard 12V charge without a hitch. I'm still curious to see how it performs with other voltages down the line! I would know that it is easy to lug around because it doesn’t weigh very much.

Gosh I hope this lasts! This is awesome and works very very well. I have only one negative - I only wish it had 48v added as a selection. (I bought a separate 48v unit) There's really nothing to dislike and it works perfectly. After the batteries are fully charged, it idles down to a safe current. I didn't think it very expensive for what I got and how well it works. As it is right now. I'd recommend it. (especially if you have 8v batteries in strings as I do - it, so far, seems VERY kind to the batteries) :) I've tried this charger on AGM, EFB, GEL and LEAD ACID types. (at different voltages and with multiple batteries series'd) note: EFB is enhanced flooded battery is generally designed for the cars that stop the engines at traffic lights, stop signs or other pauses. But back to this charger, "It's better than hoped for." follow-up: 09-05-2024 Still working nominally. I've charged everything from 6, to 8, to 24 batteries (or battery's in series) with no issues so far. Only thing I will mention is that, I don't recall a maximum charge amperage of over 7.66 amps. It's listed for a maximum of 10 amps. That mentioned, I seldom let any of my batteries run down very far before topping them off. So maybe the unit didn't need to charge "flat-out." It sure has been versatile. I did charge my 48v golf cart as well with this charger, in 2 groups of - 24v. (this golf cart uses 8 v batteries, so it worked out perfectly to charge 3 of the 8v series'd batteries and then the other 3 for 48 volts.

Bought this on a recommendation from a mechanic. He was right. I use on my full sized pickup that hardly moves. Keeps the battery charged and hasn’t failed in over a month of constant operation. Maybe not the best charger but for the money, it’s been a great purchase.

Bought the battery charger on the 31st of Dec, 2025. Went to use it for the first time with the major snow storm coming, to make sure my batteries where charged. Charger is junk, won't work. I know return time has expired as of the 2/5/2026.

Excellent for charging and trickle situations on lawn tractors and maintaining batteries in cars. Not great for starting a dead battery but will help diagnose a faulty battery.

What I liked: It's small and easy to use The smart features are awesome The smart features helped me undead my batteries What I didn't like: Wires are thin and short The instruction manual is kind of lame Needs a better explanation of the display What I was able to figure out: The battery icon confused me since it has a percentage level on it so I thought it was the battery level, but figured out that it is the output percent of the charger
