I purchased this Bunkie board to use under a twin-size latex mattress, and it’s been a great support solution. The board provides a firm, even base, which is especially important for latex since it needs consistent support to keep its shape and comfort over time. Assembly was simple, and once in place, the board fit perfectly inside the bed frame without shifting. Compared to slats, it creates a sturdier surface with no sagging or gaps, which makes the mattress feel more comfortable and stable. My new mattress felt like it was too soft and wasn’t supporting me. I was using a box spring and the mattress must to have been sinking through the gaps in the kayak. This board solved all of that and gave me the support I needed. It saved me from returning my mattress when I thought it was defective. Buy this!!!

This bunkie board is so firm you can stand and walk around on your inner bed frame. I have a solid wood bed frame with thick wood slats for the mattress but I felt like I still needed something more solid to help prevent any future sagging. This was the perfect purchase for this concern. When I took the slats out of the package, there was no weird smell which is also a bonus; no "air out" time. Since it comes stitched into a mesh fabric, there is nothing to install, you just take it out of the package and unfold it on your bed frame slats. It doesn't any noise when you walk on it or when you're laying down. I have a queen size bed frame and the board fit perfectly without any adjustments needed. The stitching is also great around the woods slats. I did not notice any flaying or pilling on the fabric surrounding the slats. On top of everything if you needed to remove the board, it folds up and is not very heavy and easy to store away or transport. I would recommend this bunkie board to anyone who wants to extend the longevity of their mattress and enjoy an even surface on their mattress.
