    • Very Happy with this purchase! :)
Style: Apple M4 Pro chip Capacity: 24GB RAM, 512GB SSD Storage Color: Silver Set: without AppleCare+
Needed a replacement for my 8-10 year old MacBook that served me well. Seeing the cost of brand new ones was a bit of a shock - so I started looking at these refurbished/renewed on Amazon. This one pretty much matches my older one as far as basic specs, with some newer/nicer features. When I opened the box I didn't know what to expect, but it was pretty much a brand new computer as far as I could tell. The condition was clean/excellent and I feel like the value for what I spent was a total score. The battery on this has been great, along with the nicer display (slightly bigger). The performance is far better than my older one as well as the speed. The sound quality is better than my older one, better speaker technology probably. The ports are better too, I prefer the magnetic connection - plus a dedicated port for power. I won't be putting this computer through as much "punishment" as the last one, so hoping to get another 8-10 years??? It has all the ports I need, plus an HDMI and SD card reader that I didn't have on the last one. I would definitely look into getting another refurb/renew MacBook here on Amazon, great selection and prices - and for what I paid, feels like a "brand new" computer! It was expensive for my budget, but very much needed as old one was getting worn out and didn't want a dead computer revival. :) **SIDE NOTE: If transferring from old MacBook, I suggest getting the Thunderbolt 5 Apple cable ($$!) to help speed up that transfer. What would have been hours and hours, was only about 20/30 minutes. Expensive cable it is, but worth it if you don't want to spend hours waiting/watching. Plus, the cable is nice for new display/screens - not able to test that yet (Display$$$$!). But I did connect my phone for the back up and speedy it is. ... show more

The computer itself is in excellent condition with absolutely no scratches. The battery health is at 100%, and it runs very fast—I am extremely satisfied. I'm extremely satisfied with my MacBook Pro M4 Pro (16-inch, 24GB RAM, 512GS SSD) purchase. It came from a 3rd Party vendor on Amazon (iPower Resale) and was shipped by them as well. It was well packaged and came within 2 days of ordering. The item was listed as Refurbished - Excellent, and it is. I took it out of the box and inspected it. It came in the original box and just about all the original equipment (Laptop. Power Block, Charging Cable, Booklet), . The Laptop itself was in mint condition. I turned it on, set it up, and did all the normal steps to set it up as a new MacBook. Once I was in, I went into the system settings, to the battery information to check the battery health/state of charge, and it was 100% and total cycle charges. There were only 8, which means this laptop was practically unused and appears/functions in like-new condition. Just to make sure I wiped the entire MacBook and set it up again, just to make sure there were no recovery keys or anything left over. It is also still under the original warranty. I saved about $400 to $500 by buying it refurbished from this vendor, and I couldn't be happier. Again, it's literally like new, and it was a smart and well-timed purchase. ... show more

    • Solid purchase!
Style: Apple M4 Pro chip Capacity: 24GB RAM, 512GB SSD Storage Color: Space Black Set: without AppleCare+
So far so good. I am just working on converting over from Android and Windows platforms so it is an adjustment. I spent a lot of time researching the MacBooks, comparing the various features, storage options, chips etc. And this popped up one day on my Amazon feed. It seemed to have everything I needed to have so I pulled the trigger. Speed is good, screen resolution is great. It looked like it was brand new when I got it as it came with its original box and assorted documents and such. Learning the differences between Windows and Apple is a struggle, but I am happy with it so far. The ONLY drawback is the MacBook is pretty heavy. More than my 17" HP it replaced. But it is taking my use of it in stride. Battery life is excellent in my opinion, as I leave it off the cord until it reaches about 10-20% battery life. Charging is quick and MAGNETIC!! So cool as I was used to damaging cords because I forgot it was charging at some point. I also like that it connects with my other Apple devices without issues. I have had bad experiences with reconditioned/refurbished items before, but this one has been a solid choice. ... show more

Highly recommend this laptop. The charge cycle count was only at 6, battery was still 100, so this purchase was a win win in my eyes. Aesthetics were near perfect, I'd say as close to new as you can get. My only qualm is that my maybe "fat fingers" get type errors much more easily than my Windows 11/LG Gram. Simes sensitivity is the issue but I can live with it, just a pain when typing and the cursor jumps or bounces to another area and my typing gets inserted in strange locations. ... show more
