I would give this 6 stars if I could. This radial brushed steel clock face with sculpted steel Arabic indices is an art deco gem! It's big. At 16" inches diameter, while not dominating a wall, it impresses with an imposing presence. In normal lighting it is perfectly readable. If low light contrast is a must for you, pass on this steel on steel monochrome design. The clock relies entirely on architecture and brushing contrast for it's elegant display. This isn't some cheap knock-off with the Bulova name pasted on. It's steel, it's crystal, it's a silent, smooth sweep second hand in deep dark blue. Horology nerds will notice the manufacturer's address on the box: 350 Fifth Avenue 29th Floor, NYC. Folks, that's the Bulova world corporate headquarters in the Empire State Building. The real deal. I can't believe the low price. I would have paid two or three times as much and still gotten a bargain. I'm only sorry that my house doesn't have a marble-walled, terrazzo-floored lobby to do the thing justice, but I like it on the wall above my desk. ... show more

Really good looking wall clock. Large. Accurate. Nice color. Seems to be well made. And it's absolutely quiet! It has a big flaw, though - the hands are super hard to read under certain light and angles! They are the same color like the rest of the clock and blend in perfectly, so it is impossible to read them sometimes. Pretty stupid and hard to believe someone would ok this. But here we are. We didn't want to return it as we really like it, so we fixed it ourselves. We removed the whole clock mechanism from the glass and trim ring, painted the hands dark, put it all back together and problem solved! One should not have to do this, but it is what it is. It'd be great, though, if the manufacturer would fix this easily fixable, but major problem. It would prevent a lot of people returning the clock for this particular reason. ... show more

Really beautiful wall clock, love it. The second hand is true sweeping, i.e. no ticking, and that makes it much classier to the casual viewer. Nicely built with a glass cover and brushed aluminum shell, the chassis is plastic. The sunburst dial and deeply sculpted numerals give this clock some nice visual interest. It's also very accurate, which is just the icing on the cake. The only issue I have with it is that the overall monotone color scheme can make it hard to read in certain lighting and doesn't lend itself well to being hung on a light colored wall. ... show more

Clock itself is well made and looks gorgeous. Shiny chrome finish is very handsome but they should have used a more contrast finish for the clock hands. It’s hard to tell time at a glance because they blend in!
