I have been very happy overall with Brother printers over the years however, my old Brother printer and scanner was no longer supported and wasn't compatible with Mac OS for direct printing and scanning. Print quality is excellent, but setup is a pain in the neck. Controls are poorly designed. It took about three hours of working with a Brother tech to get it to work in WiFi. The USB cable to connect to my computer did not come with the printer. Make sure you have the correct USB cable on hand. It has an open square at one end. Make sure they don't send you a box that has been opened. Previous buyer may not put everything back in the box and they don't check it.
