Brother customer support stated that this product does not have updated software for Windows 10. It will not work as a network fax machine in a modern env. Indows NT / 2000 only.

It's been good so far, though it was much too difficult to simply lower the transmission speed of faxes. I had to open a support ticket to get this information so I wanted to put it here in case it helps someone down the line. If you need to lower the baud rate, reduce the transmission speed of sent and received faxes, performing the following steps will do just that. Thank you for emailing us about your FAX5750E. I understand that you want to lower the transmission speed of the machine. Let me see what I can do to help you. I apologized for the inconvenience but I have included the steps that will help you. If you are referring to lowering the modem speed of the machine when sending faxes, you may follow the following steps: • Lower the machine's modem speed: 1. Press Menu, *, 2, 8, 6, 4 within three seconds.  The display should read "Maintenance."  If the display does not read "Maintenance," press Stop/Exit and repeat this step 2. Press 1, 0. The display will read "WSW00." 3. Press 2, 2. The display will read "WSW22" and a series of digits. 4. Press 1, 1. Press Set. 5. Press Stop/Exit. The display will read "Maintenance" again. 6. Press 9, 9 to exit Maintenance Mode. ... show more

i love it , it's just a personal piece of equipment, some people wants to use for business, then they complain its not working right but its works real good , it prevent you from paying tons of money to send of recieve fax somewhere else. just have one for your own personal use.You dont need a extra line for it use your same phone line just connect it close to your phone and whenever you getting ready to send or recieve a fax pull the phone line off the wall and put the fax line in the wall when you are finish you pull the fax line off then put the phone line back in the wall, and always turn off anything that is connected to the phone like the answering machine etc. trust me it works real good just read the manual it will lead you. ... show more
