  • What A Mess of reviews for different products
Style: New Model: MFCL3750CDW
I purchased a Brother MFC-L3750CDW the newer version in Jan 2019. YOU CANNOT GO BY THE OVERALL STAR RATING BECAUSE THEIR ARE SEVERAL OLDER MODELS MIXED IN. All I can say is that it is very well designed office printer that has so far worked very well. The unit is almost silent when I compare it to the $600 HP laser that it replaced. I have never seen it go into calibration mode like the HP was always doing and the duplex feature is just so nice to have. I have not had to replace toner cartridges but the person who recommended this model to me owns one and says while the toner may seem expensive you do get a lot of pages out of it before needing to replace it. I will update this review if something changes, but for now I am very pleased with this purchase. UPDATE: (Five Months of home office use as of 16-July-2019) I uploaded some pictures to show you the toner consumption rate. Now considering that the printer comes with half filled starter Toner cartridges and I am super impressed. Currently I am at 690 pages printed I still have 50% of my black ink left and 90% of the color ink. The printer has been flawless since I got it, no bleeding on the edges or toner dust in the system. It is still just as good as day one and is consuming half the Toner that my older HP used and yet prints so much better. ... show more

  • Buyer Beware
Style: New Model: MFCL3750CDW
I have purchased toner for my Brother printers from an after-market company for a number of years. Frankly, their products have been very good. I purchased my third Brother All-In-One about a year ago and after the starter toner cartridges that come with the printer ran out, I purchased replacement toner cartridges from my usual after-market company as I had done with the other Brother printers I owned. About two weeks ago, at the beginning of November 2020, Brother offered updated drivers and software. After I installed the software, the printer would only recognize Brother brand toner cartridges and the nearly three-forth full carriages from the after-market toner cartridges would no longer be recognized by my Brother printer. You should note that the new Brother brand cartridges cost nearly as much as the printer did. I cannot no longer recommend Brother printers as a good choice. The fact is that most companies that manufacturer printers have similar limitations. I am learning to go digital as much as possible and I now anticipate that the Brother brand cartridges I HAD to purchase will last me for several years. Perhaps that is what Brother anticipated. ... show more

  • This was a great printer FOR ONE YEAR only.
Style: New Model: MFCL3750CDW
I absolutely loved the speed and quality of this printer. When it was exactly one year old, it displayed "NO TONER" error. The cartriges were not BROTHER brand, and I had been using a different brand all year. After being on hold for 1 hour and 20 minutes, the "technician" went through all the trouble shooting steps I had already done, as their website suggested. When she got to the part where they didn't have Brother's official sticker on the cartriges, she said that was the problem. I asked if I spent the money for Brother cartriges and still got the error message, what was my recourse. She responded that the printer was (just) out of warranty and any repair would be at my expense. To buy all four colors for this printer is more than the cost of the printer itself. I'm stuck with a giant Brother paperweight. I do NOT recommend this printer unless you have money to burn. I don't. ... show more

  • Yes, perfect for home and small business
Style: New Model: MFCL3750CDW
Very happy with this purchase. My old Epson inkjet workforce lasted me for 5-6years. But the cost of The of the ink was just to much. And yielded small page counts. Color ran out fast. And if you didn’t print anything for a weeks time (common in this household) it would dry up and be a pain to clean. All of these cons are avoided with this brother color laser. I can still fax purchase orders, send emails, print from usb, print from my iPhone with Apple AirPrint(new feature for me), scan large documents with feeder or hires on the flatbed. And it’s a duplex printer (lamen-terms: Both sides of paper). And yes, while the ink is still expensive, because of the nature of the ink design (toner cartridges ...powder) it can’t dry out. And the large cartridge sizes permit far larger print yields. By this I mean 1,000+ pages easy per cartridge versus a 100-300 with my old epson. I highly recommend this printer for home and small business usage. Brother products have far exceeded my expectation in build quality compared to history. The only reason I have rated at 4 stars is the GUI(Graphic User Interface). But honestly, it’s only worth a half star demotion. While fairly intuitive, some settings and print options are not. All in all this is an amazing printer ... show more

  • No duplex scanning or faxing
Style: New Model: MFCL3750CDW
This scanner does not offer duplex scanning. It does not offer one-pass duplex scanning nor does it have an option to flip the pages over for two-pass duplex scanning. This effectively makes this printer worthless for scanning and faxing. Printing and Wi-Fi set-up was easy. Print quality was good, but limited to only a handful of pages in my experience. I would avoid this all-in-one printer if you intend to use the scanning or faxing frequently. If you only need it for the occasional flatbed scan of fax, then it probably will be ok. Supposedly the actually updated MFC-L3770CDW offers duplex scanning/faxing with one-pass through the auto-document feeder (ADF). ... show more

  • ONE set of ink more expensive than the machine...
Style: New Model: MFCL3750CDW
BEWARE...there is no way to reset the page counter so even if there is ink left, you are out of luck. PLUS, Brother replacement cartridges are more expensive than the printer! PLUS, the cartridges are chipped adding even more to the cost. Not really worth the cost as the printer is just that...a decent printer. PLUS, we had to unhook the fax because it randomly went off all the time. No real bang for your buck with this machine. Replaced an older MFC that lasted about 3 years... You do the math. No real value here. ... show more
