We are using two tabletops on the patio. Overall, the seem to function the same with one button on and automatic shut off, the Briza one was a slightly heavier while the Sunnydaze was quite a bit more expensive, $90 more. We also have three tall heaters that were all less than $200 each as well. I have a full size propane heater similar to this one on my porch by the back door. This one is on an end table next to my faux rattan furniture set up under a 10x10 pop up tent and I have to say, I love this little one so much partly because the warmth is "closer" if that makes sense. Warm air rises, cold air sinks because it is heavier, so the full size heater does provide warmth, but in my opinion, more of its heat dissipates away into the night air. This short, tabletop version brings the heat down to "person level" so to speak. At least that's how it feels to me when I'm wanting to spend a bit of time out on a cool night - like trying to finish grilling dinner on the BBQ. I feel the warmth around me instead of above me when I'm sitting on the love seat under the pop up tent. I have also kept a small supply of the 1 lb. propane tanks for my camping stove so for me, this one is easier than dragging a full 20 lb tank and putting it inside the base. I'm thinking I may need to replace my full size propane heater with another one of these - it's just too perfect for chilly nights outside!

What a great, space saving heater! We were going to get one of the large commercial sized heater like this for our new patio but we really have no where to store it and would have to keep it outside during the winter months. When I saw this tabletop version I thought it would be perfect for our deck for this early part of spring where it’s just chilly enough in the evening to need a little bit of warmth to be able to enjoy sitting out. This heater is perfect and gave off more heat than I thought it would. It was very easy to put together and I really like that it has the auto shut off if it gets knocked into since we have a dog and toddler that could bump into the table it is on. It’s a good weight though, not too heavy - I can heavily move it around myself - but heavy enough to feel sturdy, especially with the full 1lb tank in it. For our space, a 10’ square deck, I think one of these was plenty but I could see having a second one to really warm it up. For us this was perfect to take the chill off and make our space usable during a chill evening.

We really haven't had the opportunity to really use it because it has not been below 70 in the past 2 months. However, we set it up and gave it the ole roughing up and it looks fine and feels just as fine. I love that is a table top size and will fit perfectly on the patio table. it has a good weight to it and easy to move about unlike the full size heater.
