Should I Buy It?

With the majority of reviews being positively in favor of the product, it seems like a smart purchase for those looking for a good-quality, value-for-money set of pots and pans. The minor cons noted can be easily managed with careful handling. Therefore, given the ease of cooking and cleaning and the value it offers, it is recommended to buy it.

  • It was on sale
Size: 17-Piece
It is a great product and very high quality. Can't put it in the dishwasher, but it is well worth it. I cooked Thanksgiving with it and it was so easy to use, even temperature all through, and cleaned up easily as well. I felt like I got a really good deal.

  • Better than advertised!
Size: 17-Piece
UPDATE! I’ve used these for about 6 months now and stand by my earlier review. I have noticed a few scratches on the outside of the cookware from being stacked in my cabinets but the inside is still scratch free. Clean up is a breeze, I have never put them in the dishwasher. So if you’re on the fence about this cookware I still recommend it. I bought these for my grandson because I thought they were what he wanted for Christmas but alas! This is not the brand he requested. His mom bought the set he wanted so rather than return these I decided after 35 years of using the same pots and pans I deserved a new set. I am so glad I did! I’ve used them daily since late November and I absolutely love them. They’re weighty enough that they can take heat but not too heavy for my arthritic hands to handle. The handles don’t get hot on the stovetop and clean up is a breeze. I’ve used so much less oil than I used to when sautéing or searing and the flame doesn’t have to be as high (I have a gas stovetop) to get the same cooking temp. It’s recommended using wooden or silicone utensils with them which is not a problem at all for me since that’s all I’ve used for years. I’ve not had a problem with any food sticking nor seen any scratches and I’ll admit I stack them inside one another since I don’t have the space to hang them. If you’re thinking about these I would definitely recommend them. ... show more

  • Good product
Size: 17-Piece
Absolutely happy with this product. It was very well packaged, arrived quickly, excited to use it. Already have one of the smaller pot and use it all the time. The price is very reasonable for this product especially on a Black Friday sale. Thank you

  • I bought two sets of these...
Size: 17-Piece
Originally I purchased this set for my wife and I. I liked them so much I purchased a second set for the group home I work at so this will be two reviews instead of one. For those who don't want to read to the end they are a great set for the money and will hold up IF you don't abuse them. Home: Our set for home is six months old and doesn't have a scratch on them yet. They have been great for cooking they can get a decent sear but clean up like a dream. I love that I can throw them into the oven and the weight is good nice so they don't slide around on the glass top. I have used just about every piece for various reasons and I even use the steamer basket as my colander cause why have two things? We hand wash the pots and skillets only. I have generally found any pan with a coating does not do well in a dish washer. We also only use plastic utensils for cooking indoors. The lids I throw in the dishwasher and they have not had a single problem. Work: The set at work I purchased to the delight of many of my staff. We cook twice a day and having a wide variety of cookware has been great for all of us. This being said they are already starting to scratch. A few of my staff like to cook over only high heat. When I say high heat I mean this is a rapid boil burner for very large pots of water. They over heat the pans regularly then leave them sitting unwashed for hours. I do not blame the manufacturer for this but I was hoping for a bit more out of a set of heavy duty pots and skillets hence the removal of the one star. This set will last us longer then a normal set from the big box store as usually two months for a skillet is about what we get. Tldr; Great pots and skillets if you have the space they are well worth the investment. Just be gentle with heat and cleaning. ... show more

  • Everything we wanted in cookware set
Size: 10-Piece
My wife and I absolutely love this Cuisinart set. While it seems everybody has a "nonstick" set these days, these pans are truly nonstick. Some of the things that used to be headaches to clean are so easy with this set, most notably my attempts involving eggs. Eggs are usually one of the more difficult things on pans, because the egg whites thin out and burn onto the surface of the pan. But with this set, even if I don't use enough oil, it's a breeze to scoop the eggs off the pan with a regular spatula, and it's just as easy to clean up afterward. Just as a more dramatic example, I've tried putting a single egg on the pan (with the heat on) and I let the egg white spread out a little. I've noticed that when the egg white starts to cook and become opaque, instead of burning onto the surface of the pan, it actually curls away from the pan. And that was without using pam, oil, or butter. So I think that gets the nonstick point across. The other great thing is that these pans are really light. That's particularly good for my wife, so she doesn't have to hurt her wrists when carrying these things around full of food. But it's even good for me, especially when I'm tilting one of the pots sideways to drain out excess water (I often don't feel like using a strainer). They're nice and easy to pick up and tilt without having to use two hands, and they don't make you feel like your wrist is going to fall off. Another note on the cleaning, I almost want to say that you really don't have to clean them... After some really light uses, all that might be left on the pan is some oil that could be taken care of with quick deployment of a paper towel. You really ought to clean these things between uses, but there won't be that much to clean, so you can focus on the few spots that need a good scrub, and since they're light it won't be difficult to turn them this way and that to get to whatever spot needs scrubbing. Especially for the price on amazon.com, they're absolutely worth the money. ... show more
