They aren’t cutting very well. I end up switching to my other scissors every time I try to use these. They would be great if I could sharpen them.

    • Really poor quality close too far so useless
Unlike most scissors that close to their fullest so there’s a little room at the bottom between the hand parts (so you can have strength in the cut) these are too cheap to have that gap so they just turn into two flush pieces that don’t exactly close all the way and you can’t put any muscle into it. They’re also HUGE so not great for getting into small spaces which is the entire point of curved embroidery scissors. So: big, don’t close all the way, gutless, cheap scissors. I wouldn’t use these if they were free they’re literally useless. ... show more

    • Could be sharper
Easy to hold. Able to get right up next to where I need to cut but they don't seem very sharp so I sometimes have a hard time cutting. I found they are sharper out toward the tip so I just rock them forward and take smaller cuts. For the price they are a nice addition to my scissors but will probably try another brand at some point.
