I have had 2 weeks using it and can report the water is cool, the appearance works well with my other stainless steel appliances and visually it’s smaller than it appears, not becoming too obvious in my small kitchen. There is some minor noise when the compressor turns on but it’s not a nuisance at all and it’s brief in duration. I have not tried the hot water function.

I've tested several similar dispensers over the last two years. There are some great features with this Brio CLTL130 130 Series water cooler and a couple things I don't love as much but it's still so well built that the things I don't like may come down to preference. I'll explain. This is super easy to install. It's not too heavy and doesn't require a lot of ventilation. The cooling coils are on the back so it should be an inch away from the wall if you have the space to allow for efficient heat exchange for the refrigeration unit. It cools automatically to a refreshing 44 degrees F. If you don't plug it in, you could have water at room temperature. It does automatically cool without the option not to. Enabling the hot water requires you to flip a clearly-marked red toggle switch behind the unit. Once flipped, you never need to think about it again. This is a safety feature that's hidden well enough that kids (or childish coworkers) won't know to change it behind your back. The hot water is a hot but safe 155 degrees F. This is hot enough to steep tea in the office or to make some instant hot drinks. The one thing I don't like about this unit is I can't get plain ambient temperature water out of it. It is either cold or hot. Alternatively, I can get warm water by mixing hot and cold but then I've paid to chill and heat water only to undo it. This is a matter of personal preference. There are a couple things I absolutely love about this dispenser. It is solid hefty plastic and feels really durable. I also love that it is gravity fed. Some units fill heating or cooling tanks and then pump the water through the dispenser. This one has the heating and cooling tanks above the dispenser level so depressing the big dispensing buttons just lets the water drain right into your cup. This means the water flow is always really good. This also means you don't have a motor that will ever go out. As long as we have gravity, you will have water. This brings me to another really cool feature. This unit has room for big cups! I attached a photo of my very large cup from a ubiquitous coffee chain and it fits with room to spare. I love that I can fill anything with this. The value on this is really good. You won't do better. You're paying for quality of materials and good design. Brio is a real company specializing in this kind of thing and they know what they're doing.

This is such an awesome water color. I love that it's slim so it's not taking up too much space in my kitchen. The sleek design makes it modern and gives an upscale look compared to past water coolers. It's very quiet even when warming up water. Speaking of water, the hot and cold are ready on demand. The dispenser are is large, perfect for accommodating tumblers. It's actually fun to full up my tumblers and promotes and encourages member's of my household to stay hydrated and no longer wasteful of using plastic bottled water. It's a fabulous product!

This water cooler/heater is really great quality. I like how tall the cup/bottle area is which allows me to fill up even my biggest water bottles. I also like that the hot water heater can be turned off or on so it saves on energy. I only use the hot water in the winter so I keep it off the rest of the year. The cooler works well and it's short enough to easily load water bottles. The stand is really stable too. I have a five gallon and a three gallon dispenser bottle and it works well with both.
