1 day in and it’s so nice to have. 4 gallon water jugs work as well as 3 and 5 gallon jugs. 4 gallon is all that is available nearby for me so I gave this a shot. Setting up seems really easy and it is. Just run a few cups of water through it before powering hot so that water gets into all tubing and stuff before the heater melts anything. Once that’s done and it’s had a few minutes, it’s ready to use. The hot water comes out steaming and makes my oatmeal without any problem. My water jug is frozen , it was left outside in Maine in winter, and the machine is still making piping hot water from it. All in all it’s way better than I expected although it does land where I hoped.

Setup was simple — no complicated installation required. Cooling function works quickly and maintains consistent temperature. Design is clean and compact enough for home or office use. Water flow is steady and doesn’t splash excessively. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that build materials feel slightly more utilitarian than premium — but performance-wise, it does exactly what it should.

I am extremely disappointed with this water dispenser. The product description explicitly claims a '10.5-inch dispense height,' which was the main reason I bought it. However, as my photos show, the actual clearance is less than 9 inches. My cup cannot stand upright under the nozzle to fill; I have to hold it at an angle and bend down, which is very inconvenient. Aside from the false advertising, the machine has other major flaws. The hot water takes a long time to heat up. Even worse, the design is incredibly stupid—the power switches are located at the very bottom on the back of the unit. To turn the machine off when I leave the house, I have to physically rotate the entire dispenser 180 degrees just to reach the switch. This is a poorly designed product with misleading specs. Do not buy if you need to fill tall cups or want a user-friendly machine.

Easy to use, no setup, reasonable price. This is our third unit from this brand, the first one we moved and gave ours to relatives, the second one failed after a few years possibly due to rough treatment of the hot water spout by some house guests when we were out of town. So we don't holds that against Brio :) Advice: The second one was a bottom loader which I thought would be easier for me, since one doesn't have to lift and upturn the bottles, but I actually found it harder because you have to maneuver the bottle into the space with the dispensing tube inside, so we went back to the top loader. We have also purchased a tray for it to sit in, in case of leaks.
