I’ve had these string lights for over a year now. I’ve left them strung up, connected by poles, all year long - spring/rain >summer >fall >winter/snow/ice>spring again. All bulbs worked for about 7 months really well. Then they began crapping out one-by-one. Today, a year after purchase, only about 1/2 of the bulbs still work. However, I checked and the sockets seem fine (just the bulb burned out). So I’m currently replacing bulbs with good success. I gave this only 4 stars because the overall durability is good with bright lighting but the bulb lifespan seems short. Would buy again. ... show more

Looks nice in the daytime actually and great at night. It does bring just the right brightness for your outdoor party. Have extra twisty ties with you on hand. They provided some zip ties, but I only wanted to hang up temporarily, so I used twisty ties.
