We bought the 16 amp version of this Charger since we have a Hybrid with a 13KwH battery. It takes about 4 hours to fully charge from zero. Only used the EVSE Charger one-time and it worked perfectly. It also shows how much energy was used to calculate power costs. Great that is comes with a hanger for the Charger too. So far, no complaints for the $100 investment. All good.

I ordered an EV charger (competitor unit with level 1 & 2 charging) from Vevor and it had the App included...would not even start a level 1 charge on my EV and so I dnloaded the App. and it was not the correct App in the instructions! I got my Bokman today and plugged in the same outlet and it started charging immediately!!! This is the best charger with a nice display of all functions to keep you informed. SOLD!!!

I bought this Bokman charger for my new EV. I use it as a permanent level one charger in my garage because I seldom drive more than 25 miles per day and my garage does not have a 20 amp circuit. Therefore the 12 amp power on a 15 amp circuit is sufficient for my needs. I can charge at night for about ten hours when rates are cheaper and get 50 miles. As I use it as a permanent charger I especially like the long cord and the mounts for the charger controller and the charger nozzle. Everything works well and the construction is very solid.

I needed a 220V 16A charger with a time delay for my plug-in hybrid to align charging with smart hours. It does not allow for a standard schedule but was a much less expensive than options that could. I plug it in and hit the delay button by the number of hours until smart hours starts. Manual but easy. Seems sturdy and otherwise well-made.

It works as advertised. I had a spare 30 Amp dryer cord that I connected to 240V 20 Amp plug to connect the portable charger. So I was able to get 3.7KW charge rate.
