We have a 24ft round above ground pool and these were just what we needed to keep our cover secure. I ordered 2 packages and had PLENTY! Used probably 1 and 1/2 of the 2 packages we bought but one package would have been fine I'm sure.

    • Does what I want it to.
I have a winter pool cover that is a little small for my liking (only hangs over the top rail of the pool by 6” or so), so I bought these to help supplement the cable system the cover came with. These seem to do a great job keeping the cover in place and really help during windy days. My only complaint is that the edges of the clips are very rough. I’m worried that this could potentially cause excess wear on my cover. I’ll keep and eye on it and update my review if needed. ... show more

Four star ONLY because customer service was outstanding...my money was refunded....please read this before purchasing So, these clips pop as part of a deal pkg others but these when they buy the item your buying. I was buying a pool cover for am intex pool with metal frame. Thought how cool clips to go over the metal bar to secure the cover. I received them and knew there was no way they'd clip to the top rail. They neglected to say their pkg deal it would not work for the intex metal framed pool! It was only afterwards I read others reviews and seen where others stated it only worked on metal sided pools. :( That being said, I must say if you have a metal sided pool these appear they will work very well. Note: if you have a metal framed intex pool a tip I read that works like these do; cut a 1/2" PVC to length, split one side open and clamp over cover and over metal frame (use a protective cloth between PVC and cover to avoid tears from cut PVC) ... show more

    • Windy location buyers beware
I have two things to say about this product. 1) love these clips for non windy day and non wind side of the pool. They do a good job holding the pool cover down “on non windy days. 2) if your pool is in a wind tunnel like mine is these are not a good product. On very windy days the clips pop off.

Seem to be holding up so far, however, we’re kind of difficult to put on. A couple of them have come off but I believe it was bc of the weather. It was a VERY windy day. All in all they are working fine as far as I’m concerned. I will confuse to use them. As far as value for the money, my pool is 21’ round above ground and I had several left over! Obviously made could have used a couple of them and it might not have been an issue on windy day. :)) ... show more
