I’ve only had this brand rail covering for a few months and already is fading and there is some threads unraveling on the ends. My last covering was a different mfg. but it didn’t start fading until the end of the season more into the middle of fall. I will definitely have to replace again next year, but it won’t be Blue Wave. If you don’t mind $40-50 a year for rail covering, then this is for you. My pool rail gets HOT! I live in Arizona where the temp is regularly in the triple digits and I tried to wrap a towel around the rail after I burnt my hand. Yeah, didn't work so well. I bought the rail cover with the zipper because I thought the velcro might not hold. Once you get the zipper started it's pretty easy. I love it. We've had it on for maybe a couple weeks and it has no problems. The fabric is textured to provide a non-slip grip. The sun seems to destroy everything so we will see how it holds up. Hard to put on and is started to discolor in just one summer out here in Arizona, second summer it is disintegrating.. The previous grip we had lasted 14 years before finally shredding apart, forgot the brand,. or I would have bought another???? This brand is crap!

We love them. We went with the 6' for all our rails only because of the diameter measurement and reviews. It was larger and we were worried about the fit. We have 6 of them. They all fit and zipped very easy.
