Features

  • Tall, angled handrails for easier entry and exit
  • Fits pools 48" to 54" deep
  • Includes 2 aluminum flanges for securing to deck
  • Pivot bottom accommodates sloped pool bottoms
  • 300 lb. Capacity

Description

Taller rails ease your exit from the pool with this great new design. Ergonomically shaped handrails shift your body's weight forward making exiting and entering the pool much easier. Normal handrails force you to remain completely vertical, hindering your ability to exit or enter the pool. With handrails that extend up to a full 36" above the deck, you'll also have more support without bending over and straining your back. Our Premium Stainless Steel Reverse Band Ladder has 19" wide stainless steel treads with non-skid, 5" deep steps for secure footing. Designed to fit pools from 48" to 54" deep, this stainless steel ladder is super strong and will easily accommodate 300 lbs. The unique pivot bottom accommodates sloped pool bottoms. Two premium quality aluminum flanges and stainless steel hardware are included for secure deck mounting. 1-Year Warranty.

  • Product looks nice but the steel is paper thin
Product looks nice but the steel is paper thin. Probably around .025" wall thickness or less. It came with some small dents. No big deal I'm just worried about durability with the kids. Do not tighten step bolts with more that 7 ft-lbs or torque or you will just fold the metal. There are no good above ground ladder options at this point in time. Hopefully this will last a season. Good luck..........OK I'm updating this review after one season. I took this ladder back out and filled it with NSPG (non shrink precision grout) and secured the tubing below deck with U-bolts. I believe it will now last many seasons. I also glued 1/4 inch thick white rubber to the bottom of the last run. Screw those stupid vinyl mats. A marine grade caulk (boatlife) was the only this that would stick. ... show more

  • Overpriced, even though it's the best price on the web
I bought this for two reasons, blue wave spec sheet stated that it supports 300 lbs, and it seems to be the nicest, biggest above ground ladder. When it came, it had one dent, but I installed anyway. Sticker on it says 225 lbs...how can mfg spec sheet be so far off!? The foot holds have to be assembled to the rails. The stainless steel is sooooo thin and weak, a screwdriver is strong enough to pucker/bend where the screws go. There's no washers or nylon locking nuts, so I'm certain that they will come loose. Finally, there's no install instructions to tell you distance from the pool or distance to keep between rails when mounting. Seems 10-12" from wall (actual wall, not top rail) and 20" between the rails is about right. If u push the ladder all the way down so it stays firm to the floor, it's too tilted in like stairs, so my best fit was to let it float about 1" off the floor, when u step, it will firmly touch and be vertical. The SS is so weak, when you tighten the deck mounts, make sure it's where you want, those bolts will put large dents in the ladder. ... show more

  • Rusted Stainless Steel?
We put this in the pool in July and pulled it yesterday. It was full of rusty water and where the bolts for the steps attach, there is a lot of rust. There isn’t much stainless about this steel. Unfortunately I bought two and left one in the box (pool deck isn’t 100% done yet) and return window closed. Wish we could find a decent deck mounted pool ladder that isn’t flimsy and cheap. Guess we have all Fall and Winter and Spring to figure out how to modify the two we have. ... show more

  • Missing parts- no customer service!!
First off, the pool ladder arrived almost a week later than scheduled. I can deal with that. The box was in good shape, undamaged and unopened. When i pulled the parts out to assemble, the bottom plastic foot that makes contact with the pool liner was missing and the thin wall tubing had several small dents in it. I can almost deal with that. What i can't deal with is Blue Wave's customer service is non-existent. After a week of calling, leaving several detailed voice mails with no return call and not getting anything but a recording saying all lines are busy, I'm done!! If I'm going to salvage this POS I'm going to have to fabricate a footer for the bottom of it. Don't waste your money, buyer beware. ... show more

  • Very flimsy
Very flimsy. Not for large adults. Very thin metal bends easily and gets blistering hot in the Arizona sun, beware! If it had been $50 I wouldn't complain but at $200 it should have been better. Bad went to worst. Rust from rust proof stainless steel??? Bought another ladder and stuck this one in a dumpster where it belongs. ... show more

  • It was free for me
Very good quality steel with rugged thick plastic rungs on the ladder. Thank you again Amazon for let me have this as a gift. It helps me and my daughter's mom to get in and out over pool when we get in.

  • Would recommend buying stainless steel bolts. They don't supply the proper hardware!!!
Thin stainless steel ladder with painted aluminum deck mounts with you guessed it plain steel bolts 🔩

  • Good Ladder After Modifications
Having read the previous reviews I thought I'd give this ladder a shot and knew going into it that I'd have to make a few modifications along the way. The first thing I noticed was that the balls you install on the bottom of the pipes that snap into the adjustable plastic bottom step in no way would stay on, they were loose and I couldn't see any way they would attach. What I ended up doing was drilling two holes on the sides of the balls towards the top through the plastic and pipe and then using a pop rivet (3/16" by 1/2" long) to secure them. This worked really good. The only mistake I made was using aluminum... a week in the pool and they were already starting to corrode. I'll be swapping those out with stainless steel ones as soon as they are delivered. Since the directions give you no distance to be away from the wall, I put my foot on a step like I was going to climb up the ladder, measured how much of my foot stuck over and then went a bit further. I'm a 12" foot so I ended up keeping the ladder about 8" away from the wall. This also kept it away from the cove at the bottom of the pool wall. I marked and drilled out the holes in my deck boards. Mounted the aluminum brackets and then seated the ladder. Like another review mentioned, once you position the ladder you are suppose to secure it with the bolt on the back of the mount... but this seemed like it would hold the ladder in place, so I took out the bolt, marked with a sharpie the spot and then removed the ladder. I used a drill but bigger than the bolt and drilled out the poles. Then I reinstalled the ladder and screwed the bolts all the way in. The bolts now went inside of the pole instead of pushing against it, this locked the ladder in securely place. After these modifications to the ladder I was really happy with it. It holds up better to the whirlpool better than the plastic over the side one I was using before I got my deck up. My pool wall height is 50" to the top and this ladder fit fine. ... show more
