These stairs are very well built and easy to install, I was worried that they might’ve been to short for the newly built deck but the stairs are long enough and I still have room to play with it if needed, I definitely would recommend.

The tube thickness is pretty thin. The whole thing weights about 10 LBS. The design is typical Chinese Chicken S. The step screws will bend the tube in slightly if torqued too much. The interface looks like ABS from step to tube. So the tube connection is rickety by design. I applied pure silicon to the tube to the outside plastic to lock it in. Same for bottom plastic. Have to put together loose because plastic bottom space is larger than ladder tubes. The plastic bottom should be 2 pieces floating. The tube to plastic interface should be locked with a screw but I'm using Silicon. Tubes came with what people say is shipping damage , slight tube bends but I see one circular bend / crimp which looks to me to be Manufacturing damage. I would use Black Mobile home ABS cement they use for black ABS plumbing for plastic repair.. You should be gentle on this ladder IMO. Only ladder which does not look so bad. At least I get some metal with it. The design could be better. The Chinese always design to fail. Not great ladder but not all plastic. The last $300 resin ladder I had just broke apart at stress points. You can buy replacement steps. Just keep your weigh centered and straight and be gentle. I put protector matt on. Stainless steel rails can get hot to the touch. Protector insulation good Idea

Based on other reviews when I bought this, I feared the ladder would tend to float upward or that it would have other issues. I've installed it onto a deck whose floor hovers about 12" above the top coping of a 54" high above ground pool and I'm very happy with it. I'm not sure what at least one other reviewer meant when s/he said it doesn't fit a 54" pool--it certainly does, even in my case with a deck that is a foot higher than the pool. Yes, you have to drill through the deck or cut off the ends off the rails to adjust the height, but this is expected. When assembling it I was worried that the plastic balls that fit onto the ends of the ladder that then attach to the bottom step would slip off and the sharp edges of the ladder would cut through the liner, but now that it is installed I realize how stable the ladder is--there is zero movement to it. The bottom of it stays down and doesn't wander at all. I did drill holes in my deck for the ladder tubing to tightly fit through, I replaced the supplied screws with stainless steel screws, and I attached a mat to the bottom step to give my liner extra protection. Could they have supplied stainless steel screws and washers? Yes. Could the balls that fit on the end of each railing be a bit better designed? Yes. However, the end result of the ladder functions perfectly in my opinion. It's very stable, which is exactly what I was looking for. It will be easy to take out of the supplied flanges for the winter and put back each summer, and it doesn't need to be filled with water to hold it down. Four stars instead of five only because it could be better, even though I'm very happy with the final result.

This was the only ladder of its type I could find in all stainless steel construction. It’s fairly lightweight, but seems quite sturdy when installed. Most of the prices for it are outrageous, but I bought an Amazon Warehouse deal for $129 and it was a nice purchase at that price point, despite the two small dents in the tubes that caused it to be returned by someone else. I wouldn’t pay more than $200 for it though. It’s just not worth that much in my opinion. It’s nicely built and polished, but it’s lightweight tubing and not at all heavy duty, with only one 1/4” bolt per side holding the steps to the tube. Overall it works nicely and I’m happy with it.

I did a fair bit of research for the right pool ladder for my above ground. This one seemed to fit the bill so I dived in (no pun intended). Box came really quickly, it was damaged but everything inside was fine. Assembly was a piece of cake, instruction were clear concise and easy to follow. So why only 4 stars? Well they leave a few very important things out. 1. The ladder has to be attached to a deck. To do that you need 2 slide flanges and they are not included. It tells you this in the instructions. Not good. 1 1/2 flanges are hard to come by, they tend to be plastic and not sturdy enough for the job. A trip to 2 pool stores taught me that. In the end I had to go to Home Depot and McGiver it. It worked but it was really annoying. 2. They tell you to get a ladder pad, it's not included, that's annoying too. And that's the reason I don't give this product a 5 Star rating. I think the company would be really smart by giving you the option of buying the extra things I mention above as an add on package. It's a great product, I would recommend it but make sure you have the extras as too and you won't find yourself driving around to finish the job.

Me agrada al ser de metal inoxidable. Mas caros por ser importados a Costa Rica, sin embargo, los rayos UV no lo afectan, comparado con otros productos plásticos baratos. Los peldaños se sienten inseguros para niños y personas de edad mayor por ser resbaladizos. Me interesa colocar cobertores en los peldaños (plastic step covers). Adónde puedo conseguirlos?
