    • Great item if you have the right size kibble
We recently adopted a feral male cat whose appetite was ravenous. We decided to try a puzzle dish for his meals to slow him down, but not frustrate him. With a little coaching, he was able to master the puzzle in a couple of weeks. Loved the whole idea of entertainment, stimulus and nourishment all at once. However, we found that to fully enjoy the dish, you need to be aware of the size of the kibble. The first product was too small and was pushed through the openings in each slide. We disassembled the puzzle and found a quarter cup of kibble trapped between the top and bottom pieces in the first week. We found a different kibble that was larger, but flat. It was easily pushed through to the inside of the puzzle dish as well. We could retrieve some of the bits with a toothpick without disassembling the whole puzzle (screws are involved) but very time consuming. I think a cube shaped food would be ideal. Maybe we'll use it for treats on occasion, but I think we are going to find a different dish that will accomodate the size of food we buy, instead of trying to find a food that will accomodate the dish. ... show more

Our 4 yr old orange tabby who we love but isn't too bright loves those thing but doesn't find out much of a challenge. I think some of the flaps that fold over are supposed to move one the kitty pushes the slider it off the way and they often don't. If it did it would occupy more that two minutes for him to get all the treats out. This would be a 5 if it worked as designed. ... show more

Me and my cat we loved it but it was not a challenge. I bought it because the other puzzle I had did not presented a challenge for my cat anymore and I thought this would be an upgrade, however she got it completely figured out in a few hours.     • Super cute, Seeds Loose though
I was expecting this to be very cheap plastic but it’s super sturdy. Very cute and clever design, just the seeds are a little too loose and therefore a little too easy for the gremlins to spin it and get the treat.

    • My Charlie solves the puzzle
My 3 year year old felines loves the catnip flavored treats. I want him m to work for them since they have 5 calories apiece!!! He solved it with help twice...now he solves it with no problem. I will order the harder puzzle soon! I like this!!!!

Our cat got the hang of it right away and kept him entertained for a snack! Idk about putting his whole meal in it (you could) but it’s good if your cat has issues with socializing/tolerating people visiting, has been acting out lately, or if she/he is acting bored/fussy. That’s why we bought ours and it’s solved those issues!! He even got tired from playing to eat that he had to take a “cat break” then resume to finish all of the 6 black pieces! Our cats love this toy. They figured it out pretty quickly, but it’s still a fun game for them. We plan to get the more difficult one next so we have a variety for them. Also - this product is high quality. The parts are solid and not flimsy plastic.
