This has to be one of the most durable, well constructed pool covers I have ever purchased. I have gone through quite a few that simply tore, or the grommets just ripped out. As soon as I unwrapped this cover and got a feel of the quality, I knew this was the one and that it would last for years, well it hasn't disappointed. I was previously buying a new cover for my 24' round pool almost every year. This cover has now lasted 4 or 5 years without a single tear, no weak points or discoloration. That's my cents worth!

This pool cover is extremely high-quality. The packaging was excellent. It was extremely easy to unfold! I was able to cover my entire pool on my own. Amazing value for the money. I don’t foresee needing to order a new one for two or three more years, if that. So, a great investment!

This is the second year of owning our Intex above ground pool. Because of our location, we put the pool up in late May, and take it down in September after the kids are too busy with school and sports to enjoy it. Our first year, we did not use a cover at all, and paid the price in water temperature/evaporation and chemical imbalances. Last year, we purchased this pool cover as a daily use cover. Instead of using the included tie-down, we used bungee cords to make installation and removal easy. We live in the Memphis, TN area, so summers can be absolutely brutal with some pretty interesting storms. We recently had a thunderstorm with 70+mph straight line winds. This cover (from last year) handled it like a champ. This cover has helped to keep the pool temperature cooler, water cleaner, and has helped to maintain a balance in chemical levels. Overall, I am very pleased. What I will say is that, if you are planning to use this cover as a daily cover like we did, it will only last one year. When we closed and took down the pool last fall, we folded the cover up, and put it into our shed with the pool. When we took it out this summer to reuse, we found that it was shedding plastic so badly that I had to buy a small pool vacuum. This bothered me so much that I bought another cover (the same one) again because I could not get over how well it worked for us the previous year. We just now know that this cover is a single-year use for our purposes and are okay with that investment.

I've probably purchased 8 - 10 solid covers during the past 19 years for my inground pool. They never seem to last more than 2 -3 years. But this cover is by far the thickest material I've ever gotten. So thick in fact that when I fold over some of the areas (because the cover is bigger than my pool) to put water tubes or water trays on top it takes a while to get the folded areas flat. But I can deal with that. Of course this is the first top-of-the-line solid cover I have ever purchased. Usually I get the middle grade cover and regret my purchase at some point. This is the first winter using this cover so time will tell but If I can get 3 - 5 years service from it I'll be happy. I would recommend purchasing this cover.

This is my 7th winter with this pool here in central Kansas. I've tried a few different budget options. This season I used an "8 YR" cover. It actually lasted only five months and got totally destroyed. I just got this one "15 YR" installed today and I can tell it's much thicker than any previous cover I've purchased. I've bought covers from Leslie's, Doheenys and Amazon. This one seems to be the best material so far. I'll revisit this when I open the pool in spring.

I bought this to replace my previous cover that was over 10 yrs. old. The first thing I noticed was the flexibility of this cover. All seams and loops were sewn very well and grommets were secured. I bought a cover for 16' x 32' pool and was able to set this up without any assistance. The warranty is not 100% warranty but rather is pro-rated over the life of the cover, printed for you and found inside the package when you unbox it.

I bought this pool cover 5 years ago and used it every year in addition to a safety cover to keep light and leaves out. Two years I had it under the safety cover and didn't need anything to hold it down. 2 years I used it on top of the safety cover and used those horrible water tubes to hold it. Last year I was fed up with buying new and expensive water tubes so I decided to use the attached grommets and garden staples. This worked well with the paving stoned around our pool but by spring most of the grommets were ripped or missing and there were some small holes so I decided to buy a new one. When I went to the Amazon page I saw the 15 year guarantee and contacted Blue Wave. Simple process of emailing them pictures and a screenshot of my original order. I was told they would send me a new one. HOWEVER, since it was 5 years into their guarantee here's what they said... Under the warranty agreement you are responsible for the prorated amount of $52.00 for the cover plus the shipping amount of $25.62. An additional service charge of 3% ($2.33) is applied to all credit card purchases. Total cost: $79.95 Since I'm going to try the garden staples again this year and I know their grommets won't hold up I've chosen to purchase a much less expensive cover (40 bucks) that I'll probably have to trash in the spring.
