When it arrived I expected the same thing I had recieved in previous yrs to cover my 33 ft pool. It doesn't look or feel cheap it has a rubber like coat which seals which many others didn't. It floated easy across the top of the pool. If I need another Def going to be reordering. This is supposed to be a 15 yr warranty. I'd be happy to get 3-5 yrs out of it. Previously I'd have to replace every yr as it was thin and sticks penetrated. Last night I thought I heard kids complaining/crying. I looked around and our 60 lb dog decided again to test the pool cover. Last time/yr her paws/nails went thru the cover and she was technically stuck. This top didn't get a hole in it. She was able to get to the edge and I lifted her out. Last yr I went for a cold swim. I am impressed. ... show more

This is the second year of owning our Intex above ground pool. Because of our location, we put the pool up in late May, and take it down in September after the kids are too busy with school and sports to enjoy it. Our first year, we did not use a cover at all, and paid the price in water temperature/evaporation and chemical imbalances. Last year, we purchased this pool cover as a daily use cover. Instead of using the included tie-down, we used bungee cords to make installation and removal easy. We live in the Memphis, TN area, so summers can be absolutely brutal with some pretty interesting storms. We recently had a thunderstorm with 70+mph straight line winds. This cover (from last year) handled it like a champ. This cover has helped to keep the pool temperature cooler, water cleaner, and has helped to maintain a balance in chemical levels. Overall, I am very pleased. What I will say is that, if you are planning to use this cover as a daily cover like we did, it will only last one year. When we closed and took down the pool last fall, we folded the cover up, and put it into our shed with the pool. When we took it out this summer to reuse, we found that it was shedding plastic so badly that I had to buy a small pool vacuum. This bothered me so much that I bought another cover (the same one) again because I could not get over how well it worked for us the previous year. We just now know that this cover is a single-year use for our purposes and are okay with that investment. ... show more

This is the best pool cover we have purchased over the last 13 years. Thick and strong. We have purchased many other being told they were thick and had so many years of wear. Always replacing and throwing out after one use. You can tell right away it will last for years!!

Summary: Failed at start of first season with ripped material at grommets. Purchased this as replacement for a cover that lasted 3 winters. It went on as usual and seemed sturdy, installed per instructions. The cover material ripped at a grommet, which loosened enough to uncover a section in the wind (and which is now stuck frozen, so can't be fixed until a thaw). Very disappointed to see this cover fail only a month into winter and now have an unprotected section. ... show more

We used this cover for 4 years. By the end of the 4th year it was starting to do what all tarps do after being in the sun for a long time, they dry out, start to flake, and the weave loosens up. This should have been expected. There is no way any tarp like this will last 15 years in the sun. Then throw in the chlorine from the pool on the bottom side and forget it. All & all not terrible but they should not advertise 15 years. I thought we might get half that, but only 4 years is disappointing. ... show more

Bought this after reading reviews for the cheaper economy covers for around $60. I think I made the right decision! Good thick cover feels like it will hold up and help keep water out of the pool over winter. We made a scaffolding like thing in the center to make a "tent" to help with water and leaves. Will see how it holds up but so far happy with the quality. I doubt it will last 15 years but definitely will last longer than the economy covers. ... show more

So here it is December 30, and I just received the warranty card sent to the company in October back from the USPS with a "moved and unable to forward" sticker... The cover seems heavy duty, and is holding up well even in our winds, but if there's a warranty issue, or I wanted the extra warranty promised when returning the warranty card I'm not sure the company will be there... ... show more
