Blue Wave’s 15-year Solid Above-Ground Winter Covers are crafted from durable polyethylene featuring a 14x14 scrim count. Designed to protect your pool from the winter elements, these covers will not allow water to pass through the material. A black underside and heat-sealed seams keep leaves, sticks, and other debris out of your pool. Features a generous 4-ft overlap for a proper fit. Includes a metal winch and heavy-duty, vinyl-coated cable for securing the pool cover through the metal grommets that are spaced every 2-feet. Obviously it takes multiple people to install due to the size. It is a good quality. Be sure to take it on and off in a timely manner if the weather fluctuates like it does in Nebraska. If left on too long, it will weather and crack.

This cover is working well so far, only thing I don’t like is the size. We have an odd sized pool so the closest fitting was this size cover which was still a few feet too big but we are making it work. It seems to be very strong and sturdy so far, we are about one month in to using it. Good value!

This pool cover had an excellent fit and was easy to put on the pool. It seems durable, but time will tell. We normally get 2 to 3 years from a cover so would be amazed if it would last 5 years, let alone the 15 years that the warranty states.

Don’t make the mistake like we did to purchase this pool cover. The material is cheaper than most pool covers. It has now fell into my pool because of a hole in the middle of it. It’s tearing on the edges and now I’m going to have to fish it out. Hasn’t even lasted 6 months how does this have a 15 year warranty. Going to Call the company to see if they will Do anything which they probably won’t ... show more

I did not open the pool in 2023 , so the cover has been on for a full year now, Through the winter and heat of summer. Out of curiosity, I checked the pool water a few weeks ago.
