Very good quality, I should have invested in this alot sooner. 20x40 cover has several inches of overhang to ensure perfect fit and installation. Came with all the hardware except drill bit. Hardest part was drilling the anchor holes in my concrete. Used silicone spray to coat anchors so they don't give me trouble in the spring. Had 4 ppl to help spread it out and hold it while we did corner anchors. Kinda tricky working around the sliding board support legs but we made it work. I bought a cheap cover 3 yrs ago. So sorry. This cover, you can't beat it. Heavy duty. Installed by 1. I have an 18x36 pool and bought 20x40 cvr. Pool co here wanted $3000+.. I don't think they could've done any any better. I'M VERY SATISFIED & HAPPY.

Wish I got this 14 years ago. Replaced an electric sliding pool cover, which was always a pain. The Blue Wave has held up with heavy rain, snow and ice. Amen!

    • Works but feels cheap
Easy to install the anchors with the proper drill and bit, not included with this cover or any cover that I’ve seen. The anchors seem to be of good quality. The cover itself is thin and see through. It won’t last long compared to other covers on the market. Does the job though

At an 88% savings over the cheapest quote from a local pool company, it doesn’t need to be perfect to still be a good value. Installation was easy but time consuming. Build quality seems adequate. Time will tell if the material is any good.

    • The product looks great, but use the right size drill.
I’m a new pool owner and the previous owner had covered the pool with a tarp and secured it with salt bags. It was like this when we moved in. This is a huge improvement. If you plan to install it in preexisting cement do two things: use a half inch drill and shorter drill bit. The drilling is the singular challenge. ... show more

    • Sizing is not accurate
My pool is an older oval pool with dimensions of 19ftX41ft. This cover says that it should measure 22ft X 42ft as it is supposed to be 2 ft longer in each dimension than the 20x40. I am left with about a 6-8 inch gap on each end of my pool after installing this cover. This is extremely frustrating after spending several hours drilling 2 inch deep holes into my concrete. ... show more
