This umbrella provides excellent sun protection. The tilt mechanism makes it easy to adjust positioning throughout the day. It's sturdy and stays in place well. Light-weight and easy to carry (with carrying bag). Overall an excellent product at a great price.

This is a great umbrella for the beach. Used it on our Florida vacation, it gave us lots of shade. Easy to move around and set up. Great durability.

This is a fairly good product with the exception of the augur (the screw anchor). It is made out of plastic I believe and the tip bends. This makes it difficult to propertly bore a straight hole in the sand.

As we live close to the beach, we go several times a year and realized having one of these is a must as you’ll be scorching under the sun without it. It’s easy to use, folds well for storage & transport, and tilts for optimal positioning as the sun moves throughout the day. I was wary that the product will be of poor quality but it seems sturdy enough (only used it 2-3x, so can’t speak to longevity yet) and it’s been quite useful. It’s large enough to cover maybe 3-4 people so good for a small/medium sized family. Overall recommended.

We bought this a while back, but FINALLY got to the beach with it last week. It's a great umbrella. It screws into the sand to give you a sturdy, deep hold. The top is easy to assemble & open. Great size for 2 people. Sturdy, stayed put in beach wind. It was just as easy to dis-assemble & store. Highly recommend!

The good: - Great shade with wide coverge The bad: - Lacks any sort of mechanism to adjust height - The plastic screw is already bent a bit. It seems like it will only last a year tops, and that's if we're careful with it. - The top pole only goes into the bottom pole about 3 inches, so the top pole (the part with the canopy) definitely is at risk of blowing away. It has budged a few times for us, so we now anchor the top part down by hooking our beach bags to it. I don't understand the point of the hefty bottom screw anchor, if the top part lacks any type of support to prevent it from blowing away. Really silly design. Overall, this is a good umbrella in very docile, no-wind weather. It keeps you cool and helps prevent sunburn. It's sturdy enough in low-wind weather when we don't use the tilt feature. But when we used the tilt feature, it was swaying everywhere, even in the slightest breeze. And it lacks any sort of height adjustment, so it's always just really, really tall, which makes it difficult to control where the shade lies unless the sun's directly above you. We screwed it into the ground as far as we could to get it to a lower, more manageable height, but it was still too high for my preference. The winds at my beach are usually between 10-15 mph. It's too flimsy to feel completely comfortable with this umbrella when the wind picks up at all. Lots of drawbacks to it, but we'll continue to use it until it breaks or blows away...
