    • Premium tools worth the price
I did my spark plugs on the jeep and F150. I highly recommend using professional tools like these to minimize any risk of dropping the new plugs and just having a lifetime quality of good tools. They also worked great with my torque wrench. It cost me $60 to get all iridium’s for my jeeps plugs and the shops will charge you $800+ for 30-45mins it takes to replace these.     • Magnet needs to be a 0.5 to 1mm deeper in the socket. Easy fix
Can't really rate these 5 stars and I'll tell you why. I make a living as a professional European automotive technician and fleet mechanic for a public transit. These sockets are a huge timesaver pulling/installing plugs when working space is cramped like the E450 6.8L equipped Ford Econoline cutout used by our fleet. Easy to put torque on the swivel joint to break sparkplugs loose. My only gripe is that the magnets aren't driven deep enough into the socket and end up grabbing 2/3rds of the business end of the sparkplugs. Using them like this could potentially cause the socket to slip off or worse , round off the hex collar of the plug. Not sure if they were intentionally assembled this way or a by-product of sloppy manufacturer. The magnets could stand to be 0.5mm to 1.0mm deeper to securely grab all 6 sides of the sparkplug hex My fix is to get a short 5/8 or 9/16 bolt for socket needing rework, thread a nut on the end of it to give yourself a larger surface to hit. Put the socket in a protected vise, and use a brass deadblow hammer to tap the magnet farther into the socket. I ended up doing this to all of the sockets in the set using new sparkplugs from our parts room to visually test fit. Obviously you don't want to use an impact wrench on these, as it may shatter the joint, socket or magnet. I'll update this review as the set gets used more to report on durability over time. ... show more

I’m a journeyman tech so i get tons of tune ups at times and these are miles better than the ones with the rubber boot that falls out ALL THE TIME. These sockets with the magnetic ring inside make it effortless to remove and install spark plugs. 10/10 recommend to anyone who’s a tech or does these a lot ... show more
