Bought this sweeper after my old one stopped working. I was amazed at how much dog hair it picked up after one use! Works so good. Has an option to turn on the brush roll or sweep normal. The wand attachment is nice and easy to use. Comes with a couple different attachments for the wand. Lift-off option is easy to use. Also, the dust collector part is super easy to remove and dump straight into the trash can. The filter is easy to rinse clean, air dry, and put back together. Size is normal. It’s a little heavy but easy to push around. Cord size is normal, not too short. Love the design of this vacuum. Definitely recommend! ... show more

This is my 4th (or more..I've lost count) Bissell vacuums and I am happy to report it is a winner. My last machine was 8 yrs old and patched up with duct tape. Yeah.. that's how I roll.. :-) Take a look at how much crud it was leaving behind that this new machine picked up. The first image was the first pass on "plush carpet" setting, and I decided to go over again with "low carpet" setting and it still picked up so much dirt. I am already breathing easier, thanks to the efficient sealed HEPA filter. I've already reordered replacement filters. Ok, so the first awesome engineering design improvement was to detach the base from the motor and collection container when using the attachments. Much easier and lighter to move around when cleaning stairs, sofa or under the bed. The swivel base is nice. It took me a while to figure out how to release the upright angle since i couldn't find any lever as on past models. Just lightly step on the base and lower the handle and it will swivel and adjust to clean mode. The buttons for turning the machine on/off are within easy reach, as are the settings for low/high carpet mode, without bending down to the base. Everything was easy to assemble.. didn't even have to look at any directions. No tools needed. A good vacuum cleaners is an essential tool for keeping the air quality in the home free from dangerous particulate matter. Bissell has done an excellent job upgrading their product and i am confident I will enjoy many years of breathing healthy air. Thank you Bissell. 100% recommend. Update: After about a month and half of using this vacuum daily, I have noticed a dramatic improvement in my overall health. I sleep better, breath easier, spring time allergy symptoms are noticeably reduced. Upon dumping the contents of the dust collection container, I see so much fine dust that the machine traps very well. This is the kind of micro particles that can cause health problems. I am happy with my purchase. It's hard to pick on amazon as there are so many different brands models and they all get creative with posting negative comments on each other. A great little vacuum for the budget friendly price. Easy Assembly, good suction and easy assembly and straightforward emptying, plus every purchase makes it possible for BISSELL to continue support of BISSELL Pet Foundation. This little vacuum did a better job vacuuming than other more expensive models - picked up much more fur, dirt and dust.. The switch to change between hardwoods and carpet is easy to access and use. It is lightweight (at least for me) so easy to push and to carry. Although I am keeping it, there are a couple issues that perhaps, in the future, they will correct, including: (i) the electric cord is short- much shorter than other vacuum cleaners, so as you sweep, you keep having to unplug and find outlets; (ii) the sweeper head is smaller than other vacuums; (iii)no light to see what is on the floor ahead of you as you sweep (the more expensive model does have this); (iv) the suction tube isn’t very long, so when you go to use it, you have to keep the unit close to you otherwise, it tips over. And finally, unfortunately, mine did not come with the Turboerase Pet Tool attachment, so cannot review that attachment’s performance. I contacted Bissell and thehelpful customer service indicated that they are suppose to be sending me this missing item. ... show more
