I recently purchased the BISSELL CrossWave HydroSteam Deluxe Wet Dry Vac, and I’m absolutely thrilled with how well it works! It’s become an essential part of my cleaning routine...especially with having 4 dogs! The fact that this vacuum both vacuums and washes your floors at the same time is a total game-changer! I have hardwood floors, and the CrossWave does an excellent job of picking up dust, dirt, and debris while leaving the floors clean and shiny. The HydroSteam feature is amazing – it really helps break down stuck-on grime and bacteria, making my floors feel so much fresher than just a regular mop. The steam is gentle yet effective, and I love knowing I’m sanitizing as I clean. I love how versatile this model is. It works great on both hard floors and area rugs. I can easily switch between modes with the push of a button, making it perfect for my mixed flooring. It’s surprisingly lightweight for a multi-functional vacuum. The swivel steering makes it really easy to maneuver around furniture, and I don’t have to strain to get to corners or edges. The tank is easy to fill and empty, and the self-cleaning feature is a huge plus. The machine cleans itself after every use, which makes maintenance a breeze.     • Finally barefoot-clean floors with two little Jack Russells!

I have two small Jack Russell Terriers who are in and out of the house all day. They dig in the sandy backyard and bring in fine sand on their paws and in their fur, plus their super-fine white hairs that end up all over my tile and hard floors. I sweep the back-door area every single day (still do), spot-mop when needed, and used to do a full 2–3 hour deep clean at least once a week. That was easily 4–5 hours a week total on floors that never actually felt clean. I never walked barefoot because I’d feel gritty sand the second my shoes came off. The Bissell CrossWave HydroSteam Deluxe does a better job in one 60–90 minute pass than all of that combined. First time I used it, the dirty water tank was full of sand I didn’t know was there and a ton of white dog hair I thought I’d swept up. When the floors dried (way faster than regular mopping), I could walk barefoot with no grit. A week later they still feel clean barefoot—never happened once in the 11 years I’ve lived here. I still sweep the back-door area every day because they bring in a lot (especially now with the rain and mud), but the Bissell gets everything else so well that the floors actually stay barefoot-clean. Cleaning the machine is easy: run the self-clean cycle, take it apart, rinse if needed, run it again if I want, let the brush roll and filter air-dry on the stand. Way better than mop buckets. Used the included formula and only noticed a very faint vinegar smell that went away fast. Bottom line: I still sweep daily, but this thing finally gets my floors truly clean in way less time and I can walk barefoot without feeling sand. Happy user! ... show more

DISAPPOINTED! After my tineco broke, I was looking for a good wet/dry vacuum with steam. This one checked the boxes, including plug in since I was sick of short battery life. Steam worked well, but the mop leaves streaks, cleaning residue gets left behind and there’s no suction. It just moves dirty water around. As soon as it was upright, it released dirty water everywhere. With a full clean water with solution tank, there was hardly any dirty water in the tank. ... show more

HOLY SMOKES! This thing does a GREAT job of cleaning your floors and area carpets. We bought it to do a thorough house cleaning for Christmas guests...and I was not disappointed. When it comes to the floor clean feature, it's surprisingly good. The floor dries quick (no overspray if you follow the instructions and use properly) and the machine is designed well for home use. So, WHY THE 4 STARS, THEN? Well, becasue it's A LOT of work using this machine. Not to get it set up and use it, but when you're done. Plan on spending a solid 30 minutes or so to clean out the parts, use the self-clean feature, and ensure it's ready to use next time. I think it will be durable (We've only used it once, so time will tell) if taken care of properly! It's an expensive TOOL! Treat it like one! Don't be LAZY! This MUST be done! So, be willing to do it, or hire Stanley-steamer instead (and pay out the nose!) ... show more

Lightweight, efficient, and easy to maneuver, it keeps floors looking fresh with minimal effort. While it’s not designed for deep cleaning or getting into tight spaces like under beds or deep corners, it still does a great job overall. Steam function failed within 30 days but cleans the floor well better than smaller models. I like that it cleans itself too- that’s the best part to barely touch the dirty parts for me. I’m squeamish. The dumping and filling with cleaning solution is really easy and quick. But the WHOLE point of buying this was for the steaming function. So … booooo! Haha, I like Bissel products, that’s all I buy.
