Was a pain to but on for a LGA motherboard but it looks and works great my cpu hasn't seen over 62C I recommend if your trying to build on a budget.

I had a really hard time getting it to latch to its frame (I was mounting to Intel Socket 775). The heatsink was sliding around all over while I tried to get it to latch. So, I think next time I'll spend a little more for more precision. There were no instructions, luckily there weren't many parts so there weren't too many combinations. I wasn't expecting it to be as robust as it was, being all plastic parts. The fan and heatsink assembly aren't really heavy, so the attachment is sufficient. Everything snugs tight, nothing loose. If your case is subject to movement, rethink this one over one with a X mount on the rear of the board. It's compatible with at least Socket 775. Very quiet fan with a nice light (Rainbow LEDs, no variation or solid colors). I can't speak on its cooling abilities as I used it for wall-art. Great value for the money, be really careful mounting it. ... show more

I’ve had it for only a few months and the cooling sucks I keep getting pop-ups telling me my cpu temperature is too high and when I felt the glass panel on my case it was really hot and I downloaded something to check the temperature and it was over 100 degrees celsius

Good heat dissipation, but RGB is set at multicolor, it can't be programmed to match other RGB fans and lights.
