    • Used to replace corroded AIO on old PC
My dad was trying to fire up an old desktop (circa 2008) and it kept shutting down. After some investigation, I found his AIO was leaking and corroded. This fit his CPU and took about 15 minutes to install. Computer booted and held ok temps for him to do what he needed. The fins do feel thin and flimsy and it’s not the best quality, but it works. It required an uncomfortable amount of force to slip onto the brackets, but at least I know it had a solid connection to the CPU ... show more

    • Did not work with an LGA1366 socket.
Long story short the design is poor for my implementation. The bracket was easy enough to install, to he board but there zero instruction and the ones list on the site page are basic at best. The angle at with I had to come at to get the 1st clip from the heatsink to the bracket was unsettling, as I could feel the metal from the side of the heat sink scrap across my CPU top. Not to mention, thermal compound was was getting on the sidewall of the heatsink causing me to detach and clean off. Once the 1st clip was on I never could get the second clip attached. Given that there was only 2 clips in the center the color would slip and slide while trying trying align and attach. The oversized design at the top made it near impossible to come at from above (between the fan blades). In the end, I had to abandon the attempted installation when I had to apply so much pressure the bracket clips gave way and popped out. The plastic slips will never be as strong as the original 1st install. Overall 1 star, I only give values a sight bump because in the rare event you have a motherboard with 100% side clearance available I don't see how you get this installed on a 1366 socket and the quality of the mobo bracket clips in my opinion are unreliable. ... show more

    • Literally Painful install- scratched my thumb...
First delivery was damaged. They replaced it quickly which was good. When I received it, it was a pain in the ass to install. I had to use my old bracket that I screwed in. The plastic clips don’t hold for my motherboard. I think my MB holes are to small. When I finally clipped the fan on the bracket dismounted. There’s not enough space between the bottom of the fan that comes in contact with the CPU and the bulk of the fan to install the clips easily and quickly. It took 20 min. I have another brand of CPU fan that’s build like a tower kind of and has space for you to clip the fan in the bracket. The old intel fans are even better than this one because you just wedge each corner into the MB holes without screws. I don’t know how it performs yet. I have a couple of parts I’m waiting for to complete my build. It does work fine. The only thing I like is the led light. Also use your own thermal paste. This thermal paste is thin and cheap but, ‘hey’, you get what you pay for. Update. It still works but it makes a horribly loud noise when it starts up. It’s obnoxious. When the PC isn’t working as hard it will quiet down. ... show more

This was my first Intel system bill always been AMD The cooler had no instructions so it was little time consuming to figure out how to mount it but I eventually figured it out Love that RGB the culo seems to work good definitely recommend
