  • Love it
Style: CrossWave
So far so good. This unit replaced our Hsaek Hydrovac that died after 2 years. The Bissell is easy to use and allows you to control the cleaner delivery with the push of a button, unlike others that just supply a contract stream.of liquid. This Vacuum does a great job on tile and laminate and even works well on carpet when needed. Biggest question is how long will it last, which I'm hoping is longer than the Shark. Time will tell, but so far it's been great and seems to be of high quality. ... show more

  • Highly Suggest! Read full review if your researching!!
Style: CrossWave
Highly suggest. Long review but these are the things I wanted mentioned when i was doing research!! I really wanted a vac/mop and looked at so many! The reviews on this are really all over the place but I felt the good outweighed the bad and chalked most of them up to user error and I was correct. If you use it properly it works fantastic. I will say just buy the hard wood floor brush right away. The multi surface brush it comes with left "marks" on my hard wood. Not acutal marks but you could see where those plastic pieces on the multi surface brush touched the floor once it dried and thay drove me nuts! 100% difference once I bought a hard wood floor roll for it. The cleaner it comes with also left my hard wood floor sticky and I barely used any so I bought a bottle of the hard wood and its beyond amazing. So nice to walk around with no socks and literally have not one piece of dirt stuck to you. I have 2 cats and a dog thats sheds insanely plus a two year old!! Now as far as cutting down on time cleaning... ehh idk. Is it easier? Yes completely but I feel like I was able to go quicker with my steam mop but my floors were NEVER this clean. Yes its as loud as a regular vacuum so unfortunately not something you can do a quick clean up if you wanna be respectful of your household or neighbors. My steam mop was so quite so that is my one downside but again for the clean that I get i can adjust my cleaning schedule a bit. Clean up after: took me 5 minutes to properly rinse and make sure there was no dirt left on the machine or parts. Plus the self cleaning helps out a ton so Highly suggest using that feature. I have not tried it on rugs yet! Or any sort of carpet so I will be keeping my acutal vacuum for upstairs bedrooms. I also kept my broom for big dry messes just because I dont wanna push this thing to much if I dont have to. I read a review that it picks up large dog food but eh im okay taking 2 seconds to sweep it up. The cord is extremely long. I can do my living and dining room from one plug. I went for corded because I wanted more power and didnt wanna have to stop half way thru to recharge anything or have something constantly plugged in. ... show more

  • Love it despite a couple design flaws
Style: CrossWave
Absolutely love the convenience of this item. It is a huge time saver by doing both the vacuuming and mopping at the same time. It works well and does a much better job than using a sponge mop. A once over with the Crosswave and the floor was as clean as when I scrub it with a brush - with far less effort. I am so glad I purchased it. I have 4 dogs, so dog hair is always an issue. I know there is a pet model, but I have not had any problem with this one handling the dog hair and bigger pieces of debris that they bring in. There are a couple things I'd like to see the developers improve upon in a future model. 1. Having the freshwater tank on the back of the handle makes the handle very heavy when it's full. I'd rather see the fresh water on the front of the machine for better balance. 2. The brush head is too light. I've found if you use the Crosswave like a normal vacuum, the front end is too light and when you extend your arm forward, the front of the brush head lifts off the floor. I'd like to see some weight to the brush head so that you can push it forward like a regular vacuum. I have been able to adapt by making shorter passes and keeping my arm lower to the ground when extending it farther out (such as under a table), but it can be uncomfortable. 3. I would like the brush to get closer to the wall. I have noticed that it leaves about a 2-inch gap between the wall and the wet area from the mop when running it parallel to the wall. This is unfortunate as plenty of debris and dirt gets along my walls. I did find that if you go straight towards the wall (perpendicular) you can get a lot closer - which brings me to point 4. 4. Better swivel of the brush head. Once I figured out that I needed to go perpendicular to the wall to get a better clean, I found that in close spaces (such as a hallway), the swivel where the handle attaches to the brush head was not as much as I would like. My vacuum has much better swivel, so that I can stand off to the side and run the brush at a sharp angle. An improvement in this area would make the machine much more comfortable to use when in tight spots. Overall, despite these few things I think could be improved upon, I love the machine and find it saves significant time and gets the floor cleaner than the mop. I highly recommend and have told all my friends! ... show more

  • This won't replace a real mop
Style: CrossWave
You really need to be aware of what you're getting before you buy this. It is not for heavy vacuuming or deep cleaning. It does however work well when your toddler throws kinetic sand all over the place or drops a couple raw eggs on the kitchen tile. It gets the dogs muddy paw prints off the floor and it even got a squished raspberry out of my rug. But it can't handle heavy pet hair or remove the now dried spaghetti sauce handprints that somehow appeared on the kitchen floor. It was easy to put together and fairly easy to clean. Decent for daily cleanup but it won't replace your regular vacuum and mop. The cleaner it comes with has a pleasant smell which is a bonus. ... show more

  • Faster than sweeping and then mopping if you have a large home.
Style: CrossWave
Definitely worth the money if you live in a house with little carpet. I have dogs, tile, fake wood, and a few area rugs. I tried it on one rug and it vacuums well, but it’s really good on the fake wood and tile. It’s kinda loud, that would be the down side. If you have ever used a carpet shampooer, same concept. It dries the floors relatively fast too. I was impressed with how fast it dried. It’s easy to maneuver, there is a 1 inch gap on the sides that you’ll need to change direction to get that area but all in all 9/10 all around. ... show more

  • This is the BOMB DOT COM
Style: CrossWave
Update 2/11/2026: I had not been able to reach customer support as I’ve had the vacuum since July 11 2025, I reached out to the Bissell Bot in their customer service area. That things on it. We went through everything and got to the roller brush, it would start and then the brush would stop engaging so it would shut off. She had me fix the roller/ unplug the vacuum and plug it back in and it was still doing it. I had a replacement roller so I put it on and everything seems back to normal now. I threw the other roller away although I looked the whole thing over and I’m not sure why it wasn’t engaging. So long story short if it’s shutting off and won’t turn back on, make sure the roller is spinning, if it’s not adjust it, unplug the vacuum and plug it back in and it will turn back on, if the roller is still not spinning, take it out and make sure the part that spins the brush is spinning when you engage it. If it is just replace the brush and it will work again. If it’s not you have bigger issues than I did. Update 1/27/2026…. I have been having issues with this vacuum and it’s power and having to clean the canister even before anything gets into it, the funnel part would clog, then it started just shutting off on its own. I’ll be contacting customer support as I’ve checked all the obvious things. Listen this thing is a life saver! I can’t see how anyone wouldn’t want this amazing creation! We ranch, we have cattle, horses, muck boots, work boots, we have working dogs that are inside dogs and we have teenagers in and out. We have tile and carpet floors and this thing has saved my life with the time it has saved me. It’s so easy to use and fast, not to mention it gets everything and I have a tri star vacuum that I adore and I’m using this more now. So simple to clean and empty. Picks up even the smallest of dirt, hair, and grime but also mops like a champ. The power is fantastic! I love the ease of going from one kind of flooring to another with just a button and one machine that does it all. And news flash you can switch the cleaner for a carpet cleaner and it will do that too. It’s not heavy at all! I will say it sucks a bit where the trigger is for the mop, if your not paying attention while your vacuuming you can accidentally click the button and have a lil snag because what your vacuuming just got a bit wet and well if you have pets, do the math. lol I will also add I’d probably buy additional brush and filter for it right off the bat and I’d switch them out from mopping/vacuuming and they would probably last quite a bit longer that way. ... show more

  • Practical to clean the house, not practical to empty the dirt compartment
Style: CrossWave
I love how practical it is. It made my life a lot easier and my house a lot cleaner. It might take you a couple of passes to get rid of stickier messes, but it is still fast. My biggest problem with this is emptying it. The wet and dry dirt are mixed together, and I have to use a strainer (that I only use for this purpose) so I don't clog my sink. It is pretty gross. If you don't clean it frequently, it gets smelly and doesn't vacuum as well. Maybe newer versions have a better cleaning system. I would still purchase it again. ... show more

  • Cleans well but has cons
Style: CrossWave
This hydro vac was ok. I found it to be bit clunky and heavy for me. Pros: it cleaned fairly well and I like that I can choose if I want it to put more water/cleaner on the floor. You can just go over the areas that you mopped and it seems to dry it. The clean water tank is pretty decent size cons: Doesn’t get close enough to base boards The dirty water tank doesn’t separate the debris from dirty water. I don’t want all of that pet hair going down my sink drain. It was kinda gross pulling the hair out so I could dump the dirty water. I ended up pouring it into the toilet. I definetly couldn’t use this on my stairs. ... show more
