I am so happy with this vacuum! It is lightweight, quiet, durable, it has great suction power. It has a long cord which makes it easy to vacuum large areas. The suction hose extends out easily to reach hard to reach places. The accessories make cleaning a breeze! I have three indoor free roaming rescue rabbits and three indoor rescue cats this vacuum cleans up all of the pet hair! It was easy to assdemble. For a long time our vacuum has been on the fritz and very undependable. I've had to pay a house cleaner to come because I didn't have the time or funds to buy a new vacuum for awhile. On Prime Day we purchased this Bissell Vacuum. I have to say, it does a very good job so far. We have only had it for a week so I will update my review after some time. So far though, it picks up very well. It has very strong suction whether from the floor or from the removable handle and hose, which is a feature I really like and comes in handy for getting the cobwebs off the ceiling. I like the retractable cord, but I have a feeling that after some time, it will stop retracting so well or altogether. I've already had one instance where it didn't want to retract all the way. I like the color and I like how light weight it is. I also like that it is fairly quiet as well. Overall, for the price, this is a very good buy and I would recommend it after the short period of time of use. ... show more

I've had this vacuum for a couple of months now. Here's the scoop: This vacuum does what it's supposed to. It's nothing fancy... no crazy bells, or whistles. It's just a solid product with decent suction power, and a couple of attachments. It will most definitely clean your floors. For the price, I'd say it's hard to beat. A couple of small criticisms... The detachable canister is small. For me (living in a small, 400 ft² apartment), it's not much of an issue, but if you live in a larger abode, it might be a little bit of a hassle. It also empties from the bottom via a latch, which tends to send dust clouds everywhere as it empties, if you're not careful. The power cord... While I like the retractable power cord, it's mounted on the lower end of the unit, and I find myself running over the cord on occasion while using the product, which can't be good for it. It might just be me, because I'm still used to my old unit, which had its cord mounted higher. Still training my brain with this. Overall, a good product... would recommend. ... show more

We had a really basic Eureka vacuum that had good suction, but the wheels stopped rolling. To be fair, we vacuum frequently because we have pets. I saw this Bissell vac and picked it because it uses a washable filter instead of the annoying HEPA filters that have to be replaced regularly. This model had good reviews as well as a good price point, so I bought it. It definitely does a good job on the carpeted areas (bedrooms) in our home. The remainder of the house is tile, and it picks up things from hard floor well also. It really does a good job getting up pet hair, especially from carpet. I'm always surprised how much is in the canister after we vacuum (and we do it often). The extension and wand are nice to have. Our old Eureka hose was super short and was basically useless, but this one is functional. We use the attachment to clean our couch, which is white, and it does a good job. I also like the retractable cord, although that wasn't a big selling point for me. I really just watched washable filter, good suction, and usable hose. This vacuum has all three of those features, so I'm happy with it. ... show more

I really like this vacuum. The Suction power is good. It is light weight and maneuverability is good. I like the fact that I can empty the canister whenever it becomes full, then start vacuuming again. The vacuum is easy to use and it is not extremely loud so I don't have to worry about disturbing my neighbors when using it. I am very glad that I purchased this vacuum cleaner. ... show more

It feels like its cheap made BUT, It does have a powerful suction which is great because I have shedding pets. It's light weight which is great since I use it up and down stairs. I used it for the first time right after using my older Bissell powerforce helix. It picked up as if I haven't even vacuumed. I love it. It also has a longer cord which is needed. It also has a cord rewind. I am extremely pleased with it and has been the BEST vacuum I have used thus far. I've used other brands and this one is winner for deep suction, picking up pet hair/dander, dirt and light weight. Spend a little more to get this one. It's worth it. ... show more

Love this vacuum. After reading reviews I was hesitant to purchase, but took a chance. I've had it for a few months and use it at least once a week. Suction has remained consistently good. Very easy to assemble, use and clean.

Former Bissell finally broke after 7 years. It was such a good vacuum I only looked at the Bissell brand to replace it. This vacuum feels very cheap and plasticky. There is a little bit of play in the handle, which does not inspire confidence. It is very loud. You will definitely use your arm a lot to push this thing around the room, it doesn’t really glide which is weird considering it is essentially the same weight as my old one but it certainly doesn’t feel the same while vacuuming. I like the on/off foot button instead of a switch on the side. The accessories seem fairly securely placed, one of them used to fall off my old one all the time. I like that everything is labeled on this one so I can easily remember how to do basic things without looking it up or bumbling through. My main complaint is that this one doesn’t lie completely flat, I used to store my old one under a bed, and this one fits only if I get creative and shove it. It does do a good job cleaning though with adequate suction. The price went up 40% in 7 years for more or less the same (working) model and despite inflation, I don’t see an increased improvement. I don’t love this one like my last one and will look for a new brand once it dies. ... show more
