When I first purchased this I thought I might not need it as my steam cleaner already had 2 attachement. But I was wrong. This attachement is larger than the standard attachement and it rotating 3 sides provides all the cleaning action needed for stairs. There isn’t a nook or cranny that this attachement can’t get. The suction was surprisingly great, meaning less passes to suck up all the water it sprays down. The only minor problem I have with it is that it’s spray isn’t very focused so you need to take care when you press the spray button as to not shoot the solution all over the place. But when used properly it puts the spray where you need it. After I completed cleaning my stairs there was a very noticeable difference in it’s performance compared to the standard ateachements.
