I decided to give this hose a try even though I don't tend to buy a lot of As Seen On TV products because of a few bad experiences with past purchases. This was going to be my 6th hose in just 2 summers so I figured what the heck I might as well try something I normally wouldn't do so I bought this hose. When I received the hose the first thing I noticed was that it didn't weigh that much at all which is definitely a good thing and it's not made cheap at all which is another bonus. It was extremely easy to hook up and the nozzle also super easy to use and the on/off valve is also a great feature as well. So basically everything I read about this hose including customer reviews that pointed me in the direction to buy it was spot on. it claimed to be light enough for even a small kid to pick up, made strong and not cheap, won't kink and/or expand to a bubble and burst, super easy to hook up to the spigot and the nozzle it comes with is definitely perfect for it and very easy to adjust to find the perfect flow of water. So trust me when I say that this product was spot on with everything it claimed to be and claimed to do as well. I'm very happy with this hose and that I decided to buy it after I read other reviews on it. That's why I'm leaving my own review so hopefully i can help someone else the way someone helped me.     • Nice hose, great fast warranty support

I ordered my Bionic Hose in Summer 2023 after seeing some positive reviews online. By April 2024, it sprung a small leak in the middle of the hose. Also, the sprayer attachment cracked. I liked the hose, but was very disappointed that it broke so quickly. The box advertises a 5-year warranty, so I expected it to last for 5+ years. That said, on Mon 4/8/24 I tried calling the Emson Customer Support number on my Amazon Order page, and to my pleasant surprise, someone picked up the phone quickly. She asked me for my shipping info, and created a replacement order for me. She just asked me to email them a copy of my Amazon receipt. By Wed 4/10/24, I received a reply to my email saying a replacement hose had been shipped. The brand new hose arrived 1 week later on Wed 4/17/24. Next year, I will remove my hose before the winter and store it in my house. I suspect that the damage was due to the cold weather (although it's not that cold where I live). I still give the hose a 5-star rating, because it's lightweight, doesn't kink, and customer service was fantastic. ... show more

Works as described but the 3, 75-foot hoses I received did not include the on-off lever as presented in the description. I will keep the hoses to avoid the hassle of return and the possibility of receiving three more that do not have the on-off lever. A friend gifted me a metal hose last year and I've used it since. We live in Arizona and have over a 1/3 acre covered with rock, cactus, riprap (larger rocks), and boulders. Our PNW Costco fabric covered hoses did not hold up to this environment. We use the hoses year-round and have found the metal ones to hold up much better. They take up about 1/2 the space of either a regular hose or fabric hose and are lighter. No kinks ever, and surprising to me, they stay cool to the touch even in 100+ temperatures (unlike my black fabric covered hoses.) I opted for this brand because of the excellent price for 75 footers and the brass fittings. Observations and suggestions 1. The fireman's nozzle included with the hose is well made but restricts the waterflow to 1/3 that of the nozzles I have from Costco. I tested by filling a 5-gallon water bucket and timing the fill rate on full flow. 2. I would untangle and roll out the hose prior to attaching to water. I made the mistake of thinking, since it came all rolled up, that I could just attach and stretch it out. No. 3. It is a metal hose and during the first uses you will get silver on your hands as you run the hose through for rewinding. It washes off easy, its yard work, so don't wear your white gloves from church! ... show more

I’ve been using this metal garden hose and really like how lightweight and easy it is to move around. It doesn’t kink or tangle, and the stainless steel exterior feels durable. The pressure is great as well. Overall, it’s a solid hose that’s much easier to handle than a traditional rubber one.

    • Best Hose Ever!

I purchase my 100ft hose in June 2020 and still think it’s one of the best hoses I own and as an avid gardener, I own many. It’s lightweight, does not twist and kink, and will work perfectly even if tangled up. The only downside to this hose is that it’s not really as durable as advertised. Earlier this Spring, my husband accidentally drove over it with our Toyota Highlander and the hose got a little flattened where the tyre went over it, but the real damage occurred to the hose end that connects to the water source. The hose end got slightly flattened. It would still connect to the spigot, but couldn’t create a seal causing a leak at the connection. I contacted Bionic Steel customer service and they wasted no time in replacing the hose for me. They didn’t have the Bionic Steel PRO in stock at the time but offered to replace it with the HydroSteel PRO Hose of the same length. While I really hate the HydroSteel after using it, I don’t think it should negatively reflect on the Bionic Steel Hose or their Customer Service. I would buy Bionic Steel Hoses again in a heartbeat, and I probably will to save my wrists from this HydroSteel PRO Hose! ... show more
