Hoses are so expensive now! My last two from the big box stores had supposedly "lifetime warranty" on them but who saves the paperwork 3 years later-well I know lot's of people that do, but wouldn't even know where to look. This hose has a 5 year warranty and at least I know my "paperwork" is in my past orders. The hose is really flexible, lightweight, and so far hasn't kinked. It comes with the nozzle that works well. I was impressed how easy it is to roll up, no more acrobatics of twirling and twisting to get it to wind around a hanger. Dragging it around the yard it didn't get stuck and I was especially happy because it didn't get caught in the tire of my car as I was pulling it around the vehicle. Although more money than I like to spend, if it lasts 5 years it's a bargain. ... show more

I purchase my 100ft hose in June 2020 and still think it’s one of the best hoses I own and as an avid gardener, I own many. It’s lightweight, does not twist and kink, and will work perfectly even if tangled up. The only downside to this hose is that it’s not really as durable as advertised. Earlier this Spring, my husband accidentally drove over it with our Toyota Highlander and the hose got a little flattened where the tyre went over it, but the real damage occurred to the hose end that connects to the water source. The hose end got slightly flattened. It would still connect to the spigot, but couldn’t create a seal causing a leak at the connection. I contacted Bionic Steel customer service and they wasted no time in replacing the hose for me. They didn’t have the Bionic Steel PRO in stock at the time but offered to replace it with the HydroSteel PRO Hose of the same length. While I really hate the HydroSteel after using it, I don’t think it should negatively reflect on the Bionic Steel Hose or their Customer Service. I would buy Bionic Steel Hoses again in a heartbeat, and I probably will to save my wrists from this HydroSteel PRO Hose! ... show more

Works as described but the 3, 75-foot hoses I received did not include the on-off lever as presented in the description. I will keep the hoses to avoid the hassle of return and the possibility of receiving three more that do not have the on-off lever. A friend gifted me a metal hose last year and I've used it since. We live in Arizona and have over a 1/3 acre covered with rock, cactus, riprap (larger rocks), and boulders. Our PNW Costco fabric covered hoses did not hold up to this environment. We use the hoses year-round and have found the metal ones to hold up much better. They take up about 1/2 the space of either a regular hose or fabric hose and are lighter. No kinks ever, and surprising to me, they stay cool to the touch even in 100+ temperatures (unlike my black fabric covered hoses.) I opted for this brand because of the excellent price for 75 footers and the brass fittings. Observations and suggestions 1. The fireman's nozzle included with the hose is well made but restricts the waterflow to 1/3 that of the nozzles I have from Costco. I tested by filling a 5-gallon water bucket and timing the fill rate on full flow. 2. I would untangle and roll out the hose prior to attaching to water. I made the mistake of thinking, since it came all rolled up, that I could just attach and stretch it out. No. 3. It is a metal hose and during the first uses you will get silver on your hands as you run the hose through for rewinding. It washes off easy, its yard work, so don't wear your white gloves from church! ... show more

I have had this hose for roughly a year and a half. I liked how it was lightweight and did not kink. It also rolled up/out very easily compared to my former hose. A couple of weeks ago I noticed it was leaking from the middle. It developed a leak in the inner tube beneath the metal exterior. I thought I would contact the company to give the 5 year warranty a try. They sent me a new replacement ten days later (pic). I didn't expect them to stand by their product, but they followed through. I have my hassle free hose back again. ... show more

I had purchased a similar Bionic hose not long ago, and although pleased with the hose itself, I reviewed the product as good, but somewhat disappointed in the sturdiness of the ( plastic) nozzle. If I’m not mistaken, this is from the same manufacture(Bionic Hose) as my previous purchase, but a newer model(?). It comes with a solid (brass?)nozzle that matches the sturdiness of the hose itself, and also has a shut off valve in it! Good improvement there,-Thank You! My only complaint is the way the nozzle/shut off valve attaches to the hose itself,-it appears to be the weakest point of this product. Time will tell on the durability, but I felt the price was worth it. ... show more
