Wanted to replace my old vinyl garden hose so first tried an expandable fabric one (Ray Padula's FlexLite Plus) which was a disaster as it tangled too much, would easily kink, and didn't have adequate water pressure. This stainless steel hose is much better as it doesn't tangle or kink, provides adequate water pressure, is easy to coil/uncoil, and is a lot lighter/compactor than a vinyl hose of the same size (see image). The spray nozzle could be more sophisticated but it's quite usable and I can't complain given it's a "bonus" item. The hose has a 5-year warranty but I'm hoping it lasts much longer. When I turned it on today for the first time this season, I found with the on off adapter on the hose had split. Seems like the adapter is all one part of the hose and can’t be replaced. I love this hose. So lightweight and easy to drag around. Have used a few times now to hook up my soaker hoses and it worked beautifully. Seems much better than any hose I have used before. And it didn't cost any more than other so-called quality? 50 foot hoses. I can't tell you if it will last as described. Sure hope so! ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Bought 2 of these the same day one 100 ft. and this 50 foot, they didn't arrive the same day the 50 footer came days later, ?????? The 100 ft. Says 2025 version then further down reads 2023 version, the 50ft. Says 2025 version but yet again reads 2021 version lower in description WTH is going on here ?! The 100ft. is nice like everything about it (has no shut off valve) which is fine, now the 50ft. Shows up and looks totally different, has shut off valve and the Connections are different didn't want a shut off valve because I'm adding it to the 100ft. (Both have brass ends) now I have to drag this big shut off valve around which will be getting hung up on everything, this defeats the purpose of NO TANGLES !!!!! and the inside diameter of the 50 is smaller restricting water flow 100ft has bigger hole with good water flow, I don't understand why they are both so different, this gives me OCD because they are new and don't match, something is going on here and I'd like someone to explain why all the differences in manufacturing dates claims of 2025 version etc.....I want them to match each other, now they look as if I rigged together whatever I could find laying around the house and I'm not satisfied with that, I strive to make my home nice and that includes buying Quality products, these were not cheap. So to whoever this concerns. Please reply and explain. At this point buyer beware. (These were purchased after days and hours of researching many brands and types of yard hoses now I'm not sure I made the right choice) ... show more
