Bought this in March and a leak developed in the hose within 2 months after using it only about a dozen times. When I inspected it closely, I found know evidence of a tear/hole on the outside fabric layer. I attempted to repair with silicone tape but unfortunately the hole must be in the internal layer so it cannot be repaired. That's not what I expected from all the hype. ... show more

I ordered this hose thinking it would be lighter and easier to handle and that it would be more durable than other collapsible hoses I have used. First, it is not much lighter and easier to use than a traditional hose. Second, it sprung a leak just after the Amazon return/refund period. I tracked down the manufacturer's website and have tried to obtain a refund. I received a quick response requiring my response with a picture of the hose and purchase information. The media could not be loaded. I thought finally will get an expandable hose that would last. This was not the case. I have no idea why it broke as we have a paved patio The good thing is customer support is responding that will send a replacement. Maybe this was just an odd thing that happened. Took a chance on this hose and I shouldn't have. Even the slightest little bend in the hose and the water won't come out. It has to be straight ALL THE TIME. I'm going to fold it up and stick in the garage just in case my new hose that I'm going to have to buy springs a leak. Or maybe I'll just throw it out. That's all it's worth. ... show more

I really like the hose but the last hose only lasted 2 months due to a split in the inner hose causing a leak.......I ordered a new 50' one to replace it only because I have a 75' hose of the same make & brand that is a year or more old with no issues. I'm thinking I just got a bad hose.

    • We purchased 2 hoses and both developed leaks within 2 and 3 months..
They didnot last but 2 and 3 months..unusable, 99 dollars for the two..a lot for a retired woman on social security.
