Description

This Torin Combo Set includes a 2-ton trolley jack plus (2) 4000 pounds capacity supporting jack stands, in a convenient plastic blow mold case for easy storage. The rugged Torin Trolley Jack is strong and versatile for use with multiple vehicles. The jack is small in size, but big in performance. The jack's protective paint is resistant to oil, grease and dirt, while its steel frame provides maximum durability and strength when lifting large loads. The trolley jack features a 360 degree rotating saddle, positive locking safety release handle, and rear swivel casters for easy maneuvering and positioning. The integrated overload protection valve prevents you from lifting items weighing more than the jack's capacity, protecting the jack for longer life. The accompanying 2 heavy-duty steel ratchet action jack stands help to support loads raised. The stands are constructed of heavy duty steel and feature a locking pawl and tooth design for extra protection. Both the trolley jack and jack stands meet ASME PALD safety standards.

For the price, this is a pretty darn good deal. Plastic Storage Case, which is Okay, 2 Jack Stands, which seem well made and sturdy, and the Floor Jack itself, which is NOT particularly well made and sturdy, but what do you expect for this price? I used it to do some work on my wife's car, Ford Focus, a small car. I was surprised at how much force I needed to apply to the jack handle to get it to lift the car. I had to really lean on it. So, I don't really expect this jack to last for many years, but, if you treat it with care, and don't try to overwork it, it may last a while. The jack stands are good and solid, I'm happy with those. The jack works, but I sure would not try to lift anything more than a compact car with it. And I would NEVER, EVER get under anything that was supported by this jack alone. Bottom line - It works and for the whole package, definitely worth what I paid for it. I'm Happy. ... show more

DIY special is about all its god for. A pain to get back in the cheap case. Works fine. Wouldn’t trust it without the jack stands but I don’t trust any jack to be honest. Lol

I bought this set specifically to lift an Acura Integra and do some work underneath. I also got a pair of the Big Red 3 Ton Jack Stands so I could raise all 4 corners of the car. The jack works fine, but the actual lift range is very limited. When I jack the car from the front center lift point, I can not get it high enough with this jack to even get the jack stands under it behind the wheels at their lowest setting. I was hoping to have the car up at near the highest jack stand setting. Fat chance of that. I had to put a couple of boards under the jack just to get the front of the car high enough to get the stands under it at all. That's not really a complaint or a failing of the jack, but it's definitely something to be aware of. The stands themselves seem perfectly adequate, at least so far (I've only had it a couple of days). If you are looking at this one because it comes with a case and that's a nice little extra feature, you should know that the case is complete garbage. Do not let its inclusion sway you toward this set. The case is trash. The blow molded interior of the case (into which the jack is supposed to sit and be held still) is so thin that most of it was broken out and crushed before the unit was delivered. All you're left with then is a cheap plastic box that the jack and stands rattle around in, providing no actual protection or support at all. Bottom line for this set, it works ok, but an Integra is a pretty small car, and this is barely sufficient to lift it up off the ground far enough to get the stands under it. I would recommend going with a bigger jack and skipping the attraction of the cased set. That's what I would do knowing what I know now. ... show more
