I needed a jack to do work on my 22 Mustang as it was too low for ramps so I ordered the jack. This sits very low, so it has plenty of clearance, but can still go pretty high so sliding in those jack stands is easy. Not a huge mechanical advantage, you are gonna have to put in a bit of effort. This thing is a tank. Heavy, solid, and well built I don't think I am going to ever have to buy another jack. One thing to keep in mind though, make sure you buy a large rubber puck if you plan on using this with a unibody car. I was giving this as a gift and I was very disappointed it did not look cool like the picture. It was totally plain, no decorative decals. The box was also busted up. I guess it works fine. But it doesn't look like the picture.

Jack is 2 1/2 years old, and used less than a dozen times. The gear teeth no longer mesh properly or securely, resulting in vehicles getting stuck in the air as rotating the handle does not engage the release valve: I've had to (on more than one occasion) use a hammer and a screwdriver to drive the gear into the release position. I think this jack is poorly made and unsafe, and I would not recommend it at all. ... show more
