Great umbrella holder! I love everything about it. It not only looks great but functions with the superiority I was looking for in a stand. It moves around out patio with ease and locks when it has found it's home. The unit itself is not heavy but the sand and/or water will change that a bit. Our big umbrella fits perfectly and tilts with ease. I would buy this item again, no questions asked. No noise except the bump sounds from the stones on the patio. I initially ordered this so we could have a second umbrella on the patio. Within 5 minutes of opening it, I knew I had to order a second one to replace the one we had no intention of replacing. It's so nice. It's incredibly sturdy. We had some wind yesterday that I never would have considered opening the umbrella up in, but we gave it a try anyway and it was solid. Not a single wobble or hint that it might fall over. My old stand never would have held the umbrella up in that wind. We filled it with water, but I might swap that out for sand before winter. The hole to fill it is a generous size, so you don't even need to take the nozzle off the hose to fill and there would be no difficulty pouring sand inside though a funnel would probably be helpful. The wheels are really convenient. Despite this thing being pretty heavy, you can move it around with ease and lock the wheels when it's in place. The base is large enough to put a small fan on for my dog laying under the umbrella. Assembly was a breeze. Had it put together and filled in under 15 minutes. Worth every penny.

I bought this for a beach-sized umbrella for my backyard. It's gusty, and my traditional metal umbrella stand was not doing the trick. I saw that you could add water to this one for the weight and was pretty thrilled with that AND it's on WHEELS, making moving it out to use and back to the house to store it when closed SO much easier. Now, the weight of the base is good, there are 2 screws that help with the post sturdiness. The wheels turn 360* on one side and are locked straight on the other side, so you can move it easily and in most directions, but, especially when full of water, it is a little fickle to get it to move/turn when and how you want it. I wouldn't complain about it much, though, because the overall feature is super convenient. I still keep an eye on the umbrella with some of the gusts, but overall, I would recommend; would buy again.

Excellent umbrella base. Simple to assemble, easy to fill and stands up to 45 mph winds. The locking wheels make it easy to move. Our initial order was lost during shipping. Best Choice efficiently handled the situation. I re-ordered two at a later date. Shipping was excellent and product was delivered immediately. I keep referring this company for all stated reasons above. Obviously happy customer!

Just got it all set up. Put water in it for this summer, maybe sand later. So far, it is very sturdy and seems to stay in place well. Will see what happens when the winds pick up. Seems to keep the umbrella (not included) held in well, too.
