Great umbrella holder! I love everything about it. It not only looks great but functions with the superiority I was looking for in a stand. It moves around out patio with ease and locks when it has found it's home. The unit itself is not heavy but the sand and/or water will change that a bit. Our big umbrella fits perfectly and tilts with ease. I would buy this item again, no questions asked. No noise except the bump sounds from the stones on the patio. Appears, and has performance so far, indicates it is durable and very well made.

Very pleased with this model as we can get some stiff winds. It was easiest for us to fill with water, about 3/4's full, then empty for storage at seasons end. The lockable wheels are a hugh bonus as we can easily move to any desired location effortlessly. What's really impressive are the details. The pole has 2 umbrella securing bolts, the water fill plug has a thick rubber gasket and the wheel locks satisfyingly snug down No regrets, we paired it with this company's umbrella and everything came together seamlessly. A very commendable product!

This is the bad, the good and the verdict. The good: - Good value - Well made - Easy to move around on a cement floor and lock when needed - Sturdy when filled with water which is what I used. - The size is good, not too big to be bulky and not too small to be unstable. - Looks good - Water retention is good and doesn't leak The bad: - A bit hard to move when water is in and the umbrella is in as well on a wooden surface. The verdict: - Will re-purchase if needed but I hope this base will last me for a long time with proper care.

This product arrived well packaged. Easy to unpack and begin to use. Simply fill it with water. No leaks. Has adequate weight for our 10 foot 3 tier patio umbrella we purchased from this same brand. Excellent stability. Even with wind blowing. Has four wheels and two of them lock and unlock allowing you to move the umbrella around easily. Has enough storage capacity to give you the weight you need to hold your patio umbrella in place. Color is good.

So far, so good. I was looking for a sturdy and heavy base for an 11-foot sunbrella. This base provided the option of using water or sand to create a heavy and sturdy base that would withstand strong wind gusts. I filled it with water, which will provide 81.4 lbs of support. I thought about using sand, which could support 123 lbs, but it wasn't necessary, and it would be very messy. The base is also on casters, so it makes it extremely easy to move around my patio. It is a very good product and checks all my boxes! :-)

I received the umbrella stand but it was missing a part. I emailed Best Choice Products (BCP) and they responded quickly. I was told that they could not send me just the missing part as I had requested, but they would send me a new umbrella stand for our deck. In addition, there was no need to return the original stand and no charge to me. Sure enough, I just received a new stand with all of the parts at no charge. It took about 1.5 weeks for all of this to take place--from my original email to BCP until I received the new stand. I felt that I could not have asked for better service--and I feel that in today's world, it is very unusual to have this type of service. In addition to customer service being excellent, the umbrella stand is very sturdy and practical. The wheels help and setting it up is easy. Filling it with water as I did anchors the stand so that I trust our umbrella is secure. It is perfect for some summer outdoor living. Great company and great product.

This is our second purchase of this wonderful solution to mooring an umbrella safely on our deck and having it moveable as well. You fill it with water, place the umbrella pole into the unit, and secure it with the two sturdy screws that hold it firmly in two sections of the pole, not just one. We have two tiltable umbrellas for our deck in these umbrella stands, so we want that tiltable feature to have the benefit of a rollable stand to manage the Earth's and the Sun's dances in the late afternoon when our west-facing guests find the setting sun makes things a challenge. Just wheel this stand with its umbrella into a new area from time time, and you can solve the waning sunlight problems with ease. Empty the stand before the frosts come and refill it when the winter freezes are over. There are brakes on the wheels for stability. Sometimes the drainage gaps in a wooden deck will catch the wheels, but that's easy to overcome with a push and guidance of he wheels. It's a great product. I'd buy it again, if we need a third umbrella.
