The first perch I received was missing hardware. So if you order this, check the box immediately for all the parts. Sometimes I can't get to my projects in time and miss my return window, so I'm glad I didn't wait around with this one. Replacement was only a bit of a pain. Really dislike the UPS QR code where you can only drop off at actual UPS stores. Very inconvenient, especially if you live far away from a UPS store. But that little hiccup aside, the replacement perch I received was complete with all the hardware. Putting it together was mostly easy, the holes are designed where you try to put it together wrong, it won't work. The instructions are a bit lacking, but so it is with everything these days. The only reason I took off a star is because this is not as sturdy as I would like it to be, and the only way to attach the top part is to the right size fence post. It would be nice to have an option for a different attachment, but I managed to make it work. The chickens used it from day one. They are not complaining.

I bought this for my 8 to 10 week old pullets. Seems like a great size for them. Some of the holes were drilled too large in the dowels so I had to use glue to assemble. Also some splits in the wood. Otherwise nice product

Photo is Deceitful. This uses Dowel Rods for the perch instead of wood slats. My photo is a zoom in of theirs. The dowel rod is round. Their photo shows a hen FLAT FOOTED. This photo of theirs is misleading. My hens do not like them. Hens cannot roost on a 1" round object. The metal is rickety & wobbly. The whole thing wiggles. I do not recommend. I ended up anchoring it with other pieces of wood because I had tossed the box so could not pack it back up to return it.
