The lenses are great. The case is terrible. The case wastes a lot of space for the different mounts, and after I removed the mount that comes pre-installed, I swapped in the L mount, but found the default mount wouldn't fit in the open slot in the case. I wish the case was just for the lenses because I rarely would need to take the mounts on the road.

OI purchased the 20 mm version as an early adapter on Kickstarter, and I really wish I had purchased the entire set. The lenses are absolutely beautifully made, with a solid build, consistent with what you would expect on a Cine lens, and of course, the best feature of all is that it is cross compatible with four different platforms. People are often intimidated by Manuel lenses because they don’t know how to focus. I prefer shooting in Manuel mode because it gives me full control over all of the elements. One of the most important things a person can learn is how to zone focus where you understand that everything at a certain aperture will be clear within a specific distance zone. Once you understand that, everything will be in Focus and you won’t have to worry about auto focus picking the wrong spot. Sometimes in low light, the camera will be fooled into thinking about focusing at certain things and it’s not photos of the wrong place. This is especially helpful when filming video because you won’t have to worry about tracking Focus since everything will stay and focus at the distance. I really lament not buying the 35 mm and 50 mm because I tend to do a lot of video footage and the fact that these lenses all way approximately the same is very helpful when using a gimbal. The balance point is almost identical each time so the change out is quick and easy. Now onto the optics. The low aperture, of course, is the main feature but experienced photographers know that you don’t simply stay at that low aperture all the time. In fact, it is not helpful during the daytime and in landscape photography. Sirui has really developed a reputation for beautiful build, smooth transitional optics, and high quality glass.
