-I Needed an chiller for my axolotl tank, this was cheapest refrigerated one on Amazon. Instructions were very clear & detailed. Pump has high flow and was easy to connect. Everything inside the chiller looks high quality, very quiet and almost no vibration. -One year after purchase and I have no issues with it. I cleaned out the the chiller with vinegar as instructed and everything looks clean inside the chilling tank. I took off outer cover and cleaned inside out found no corrosion or any leaks. Fans are a bit louder than compressor but still not louder than a desktop fan. Sucked out pet hair from front coil with vacuum cleaner regularly. Happy with my purchase so far.

I purchased this chiller the beginning of November 2022. It is now the end of January 2023 and it is no longer chilling the water. We purchased this brand because we have the same brand chiller but bigger one for our 60gallon tank. This one was purchased for a 20 gallon. We have had no issues with the 75 gallon chiller. We are surprised this one quit working just after 3 months! It’s a great chiller when it works. Now we have to deal with getting this replaced and hope our Axolotl doesn’t get sick!

Ok, I do not use it for a fish tank. I use it with another Fish tank chiller that uses TECs for cooling as this one uses a Compressor. Water from the CPU is 63.3F when it returns it's 58.1F. I am ok with this as Air Cooling still would be 98F+. It's quiet. It's so cold relative to the ambient air, water condensation will form on your water block and the to and from hoses. I weather-stripped the hoses and the water block.

Set up a 20L aquarium on our screened in deck for raising bettas and didn't even consider that every day the outside temps above 80 degrees (particularly this summer with so many days in the 90s) would adversely raise the aquarium temp. So, quickly bought this and spliced it into the return line from the external filter and it has kept the tank at a solid 79 to 81 degrees. The price isn't overly bad and given the investment in fish and other equipment, this has been the savior of this setup.

The chiller stopped working. After a week of exchanging emails with the company - this is what where it ended. Please allow us to explain that this situation is not actually due to a machinical failure. The cooling principle of a chiller is similar to that of an air conditioner, and the refrigerant leaks because it has been used for a longer period of time. From your order information, it seems that you have been using the machine for one year, and our technician said that the refrigerant needs to be filled once in about 1-2 years normally. So we suggest you can order a new machine and we are willing to give you some discount. Looking forward to your opinion and reply. 😊 Sincerely, BAOSHISHAN Customer Service Team They know the equipment has a limited lifespan of less than a year, they won’t support it, and they rather sell you a new one to make money. Stay away! They won’t honor their warranty and the equipment is junk. Take your money elsewhere! UPDATED as od 1-30-2023 After posting the initial negative review, the seller reached out and offered to replace the chiller with a similar model and honor the warranty. I am updating this review to reflect the effort on their part to correct the issue. However, t should not take a negative review to get a response or reaction. The replacement has been in place for a week now and is working as expected - however the previous model failed after 11 months so we'll see where this is in Nov-Dec of 2023.
