The color is as advertised. The headphones have a band that keeps it elevated from the top band which makes it soooo comfortable to use. This is a really nice headset for gaming under $30. I have many headphones and headsets for music and gaming. I love trying out new things and I thought that this would be a great addition to my collection. I love that this JLab headset has an adjustable elastic band around the top the headphones. This prevents the hard plastic band from sitting in the center of your head and causing pain after prolonged gaming sessions. The ear cups are nice and large and help to cup your ears and eliminate background noise in the room. The mic boom also goes into a silent mode when you raise it up all they way. For gaming and chat the sound is great. Nice crisp audible chat and the sound effects and music in games sounds really good. I have not tested these on full audio immersion yet. I'm pleased with the way they look and feel while gaming. I wish other brands that were in this price range were as good as these. ... show more

These are a good quality. They are a decent value. They have good sound cancellation. The sound itself is very clear and crisp. The mic works well and sounds clear for others. It doesn't pick up a lot of background stuff. I like that it turns the mic off when you flip up the mic. This is easier sometimes than finding a button to push to turn it off. This way you know for sure the mic is off as well. It's also nice to be able to tuck it away when not using it. The volume dial is easy to use as well. The adjustable strap is nice. It's actually a strap with hook and loop fastener. It's easy to adjust and is actually comfortable. It stays in place well. The ear pads are fairly comfortable. They do seem a touch on the smaller side than others I've used. They are fine for me but may be annoying or not as comfortable for others. I got these to use for both work, where I listen to audio all day long, and for gaming where I play games you need to hear well in. It works well for both. The people I play games with can also hear me well and it is clear. Overall I'm very pleased with the quality of these. The sound is great, the mic works well.     • Perfect emergency backup headphones
As someone who values high quality audio, I probably spend more than the average person on audio products. Even the best have problems sometimes and it's great to have an emergency pair of headphones in the meantime. I got these for that exact reason, and when disaster did strike, these came in clutch. I have to say, the quality was way better than I had imagined! Sound was clear and there was a decent amount of bass as well. When really cranking up the sound, that's when things take a turn for the worst, but let's be honest, nobody should have the sound that high for fear of destroying their ear drums. The fit is good, tight enough where they wont fall off but not too much where it cuts off the circulation, The ear pads are super comfortable as well, hours of play will go by and they are barely noticeable. Overall, I think these are pretty good and an excellent option for backup headphones. My son however likes them enough where he took ownership of them and now uses them full time as his main headphones. No complaints from him at all! ... show more

Tested on Acer Predator gaming laptop and custom PC using AE-7 Sound Blaster sound card & software. Tested with PC games, Twitch streams, and streamed music. First, comfort: Ear cups are soft but warm (due to that pleather material). Headband takes some getting used to and adjustments. At first, I did not like the headband but after loosening it up a bit, I was able to tolerate it for hours at a time. The headphones are light and do not apply a lot of pressure to the ears. Sound Quality: Exceptional for the price (about $40 at time of review). For reference, I normally use Sennheiser HD 650s and have a slew of other headphones like Bose, Sony, AKG etc. Well balanced sound, slightly on the bassier side, but still with clarity. I had no difficulty picking up on all sorts of sounds while playing video games and watching Twitch (tested with the gaming laptop without an amp). When paired with the AE-7 Sound Blaster while listening to music, these cans pack a punch. Any 50mm headphones should be paired with some sort of amplifier to get the max benefits out of it. But, I get it, not all devices are going to support that. Slight distortion a full volume, however, at those levels you’ll be damaging your ears. Unfortunately, I was not able to test the microphone, but I have always been of the opinion a dedicated mic is best but not always possible. Overall, I have not tested a better set of headphones at $40. Absolutely recommend these. Four out of Five stars only due to the fact the head strap is a bit odd. ... show more

I'm honestly really surprised with these headphones. The noise cancellation is great. I can't hear my boyfriend while using these. My boyfriend has told me my mic sounds good. I find them to be very comfortable! I really like these. Super easy and quick to mute my mic too. My boyfriend has some gaming headphones he got from walmart and hands down these are way better. These are cheaper than the ones my boyfriend got and they're more comfortable. Def recommend ... show more
