    • Didn't work for very long. UPDATE 11/26/22 - FIXED!
Bought in September of 2021. Worked nice until now (and we don't even use it that often). We run the heater off of a 20-lb. propane tank. I thought maybe the conversion hose was bad, so ordered a new one. New hose gets the same result. Now, the heater will not stay lit. It will ignite the pilot, but as soon as you stop pressing down on the control knob, it shuts off. If I turn the knob to high and light the burner with a grill lighter, it will light, but only with the knob pushed in. Let go of the knob, it shuts off. Even with the knob taped down, it still doesn't get as hot as it used to. It used to get hot enough to make the metal screen get red. Not any more. There's something wrong with the knob assembly or the regulator. I'll disassemble and try to clean/troubleshoot, but I'm not hopeful. It was a nice heater when it worked. I'll be shopping for a different brand of table top heater. If I figure out what's wrong, I'll update my review. 11/26/2022 UPDATE!: Changed to 4-stars, but will leave the rest of my initial review in case someone experiences the same issue (won't stay lit w/o holding in the valve). It was the thermocouple. Cleaned it and bent it closer to the pilot. Stays lit now, and works like a champ again. ... show more

    • Small but NOT mighty
This little heater doesn't radiate much heat... the small propane bottles this is built for only last an hour or 2 and it doesn't put off enough heat to justify wasting all the propane it uses.

nice heater. it works great in areas that my large heater can't fit into. just wish that the propane tank that fits it was bigger since it seems to only last a few hours but overall, i am very happy with it.

This heater was easy to assemble and puts out a lot of heat. The assembly instructions were clear and it arrived with all required parts. I gave the heater only 4 stars because it is extremely difficult to attach a propane bottle to it. The last tabletop heater I bought had a swivel attachment for the propane bottle and was a lot easier to use. It's still cold in Los Angeles at night, and whenever you're grilling outside, you need a patio heater, and this heater is just what you need!

    • Good for chilly nights, NOT COLD nights
If you need to wear more than a sweater on a chilly night, this heater is not for you. Puts out warmth, but not enough heat to take off your sweater. The WORST thing about this heater is how HARD it is to put the small propane tank on/off. Most heaters have a swivel that you can adjust outward to screw the propane tank in and then swing back in and put the cover back but this heater does not and the opening has just enough room for 1 medium size woman's hand. It's been VERY challenging changing the propane tanks. I recommend you shop around a little more before getting this one. Good luck all! ... show more

    • Great for warming an outdoor seating area
We live on Maui so you can imagine that it doesn't get all that cold in the winter, but we do all of our entertaining on an outdoor covered deck. Our winter evenings can get into the 60s and even though that is not cold, it is a damp cold. We put this at the end of our long table and it gives a nice warmth to the guests sitting around the table and in the area.
