This hair chalk is just that... chalk. It will color your hair temporarily but will come out at the first wash, if not before if it is rubbed on anything. This is great for an evening of fun, but be careful, it makes somewhat of a mess on your hands and clothing. The pictures in the listing are somewhat misleading. It will NOT look like a dye job, which is what is shown in the listing pictures, what it WILL look like is steaks of color where this product is rubbed on. The product is chalk, so it will have a matte look, not shiny like the obviously dyed hair in the listing pictures. Easy to use, just comb it in and if you wet your hair beforehand, allow it to dry. So... the product works as it should. It will color your hair. It will stay in temporarily. It is easy to use. Is it a dye... nope, but it does not claim to be but the listing photos show dyed hair... so that is a bit misleading. Your hair will not look like it was dyed root to tips using this product. (star off for misleading photos, otherwise works as intended)

We dampen the chalk and then pulled the chalk thru her hair at an angle a bunch of times to get a blue streak. You can not brush your hair after applying or it comes out. Overall, she loves it! It did cause some hair fall (see photo), the chalk does get all over your hands and it makes a mess in the sink so that’s why the 4 stars and not 5. (I’m pretty sure all those photos are NOT coloring from the chalk because the color is not glossy like that.) She said it does make her hair feel dry. Regardless, please make this in purple too.

Easy to apply and hold. It's like a brush so you can hold your hair you want pink and brush it on. It works best on blonde or bleached/ light hair but on dark hair like mine it doesn't show as well but you can get a cute tint. It stays on till you wash it off and doesn't rub off too much.
