Description

Marine Metal B-15 Power Bubbles Water Pump is perfect for crowded live wells or catch and release tournaments. It only needs 12 V DC and a very low current of +/- 0.46 amps to run and can be easily wired to a boat panel. With twin bellows and double outlets, this air bubbler can aerate 1 or 2 live wells up to 35 gallons. With weighted glass bead airstones, it provides greater dissolved oxygen, producing a 99.5% saturation of dissolved oxygen. . It has a large, adjustable stainless steel clip and screws for easy mounting. With anti-siphon valves protecting the pump from water intrusion, it ensures that every unit is of high quality. Excellent emergency aquarium pump. Designed for fresh and saltwater and most effective when used with water renewal systems.

I have three of these units on my fishing boat...each drives two air stones making tremendous aeration in the live well, bait well, and bait buckets. The older unit, probably 15-20 years, I gave to a friend, and it still works. I also have one in back of truck for live bait transport, and a battery powered version for when no 12V battery is around. Needless to say, I am VERY happy with this product. I don't normally give 5 stars but this thing works well above expectation. They work great for rain barrels or hydro grow set ups. a simple battery and solar panel set up and NO MORE ALGEY. Sometimes in rough water my bait well will lose prime and I get to my fishing spot to find dead and nearly dead bait. I wanted to assure that if I was not getting fresh water pumped in, that at least I get oxygen for the fish when the pump decides to get air lock. It was super easy to wire this to a switch and mount under my center console. The rubber feet make it easy to mount directly to a hard surface. With the back flow valves, I can feel confident that water won't get into the pump. I really like the size of the air stones and that they come with weights. VERY happy with this one. ... show more

I do 99% of my fishing in Tampa Bay. In the summer, I'll run both almost continually (the live well pump will run every 2 minutes.) When the water cools down, I can get away with running my aerator with the live well pump going every 10 minutes. My bait wells typically ONLY see greenbacks (scaled sardines), threadfin, and/or pinfish. I can black out all wells and 75% of my bait will remain alive from 7:00am until I either use them all or dump them around 2:30pm, when I call it a day. I have three wells total. I run one aerator in the rear of my boat near my batteries, and it feeds the live well in the rear of the boat and the front of the boat. Both of those wells are about 8 gallons each. I run the other aerator under my center console, feeding my large bait well in the front of my console (about 30 gallons) with both air hoses. I did replace the stones with bigger stones, but I'm sure the ones that came with the unit would have worked fine. I have had both units for over 2 years now with zero issues. ... show more

I got the B15 to fit onto my Engel 13 quart live bait cooler, as a replacement for the loud OEM aerator. The B15 has a clip on the bottom of it, that fits nicely onto the side of the bait cooler. I used the provided T fitting to make the hoses go from two to one and this aerator pumps out a lot air with almost no noise! The provided weighted air stones work well also. If you want a quiet unit that works great, this is the one to use! If your boat has a 12V plug, you can also solder on or add some 1/4” disconnects for the adapter and run it from your boat! ... show more

Had to rewire to use in the boat but that was due to where I placed it. I also connected terminals on the end for use on battery post (screw type) and wired in a toggle switch. I made a live well from a cooler and glued the check valve in the back after drilling a hole in it near the top. Works great and keeps the fish alive all day long and on the trip home. I could not be happier with the set up. And it was way way way cheaper then getting a professional one installed. Little red neck set up but works just as good as any of them. And the best part is!!! I can just pull the cord off the back and carry the cooler in the house to clean. And with the duel set up I ran one hose to the cooler and one to the minnow bucket to keep them going for longer. 😃 definitely worth it in my eyes! ... show more
