I purchased to use with my ps5 and couldn’t get it to recognize at first then , plugged both cables in and has worked like a champ since , I guess it needs the extra power for the 7200 rpm drive from both plugs

u need too hook it ip up in the front using the mini usb attachment it says not to but i did it worked for now let c how it last u cant save ps5 games on it witch sucks thinking on returning it cause it said u can but u cant wtf false advertisement
