I bought this as a gift for my partner who lives in a different state and I wanted them to have a way to jump their car without me being present. The case is nice and fits everything secure. The instructions are easy to follow. The battery is bigger than I expected, but guess what? Since December 25th, I've used it 3x and my completely dead car started with each each time. I'm glad I bought it and had it while I was visiting for the holidays. Now they know how to use it and we know it works. 3 jumps and it still had 75% capacity. I take this everywhere and have used it three times helping others on my travels. Gave it a 4 out of 5 because the lead is short and just makes it across the terminals of the battery. I still carry jumper cables just for those applications where you need a wider lead.

    • Bad design! Can't start a car when battery is dead!
UPDATE 1/14/2014: After a couple of months of dealing with customer support and telling them I needed the updated connector with the boost button, they finally came to the same conclusion and sent me two new connectors for the two starters I purchased. You have to be persistent with them! But once they realized what I needed they shipped them overnight. I was shocked to see them the next day! The boost button works perfect! Without this boost button on the older model, this starter was useless when the battery was really dead. Now with the boost button it works perfect! Original review: Do not buy, this garbage. I unfortunately bought two one for me and one for my, son. Mine worked fine when the battery was slightly dead, so bought another one. Then I needed to jump my Corvette and it wouldn't work! Junk! NOCO is a good brand but very expensive, so I tried the Flylinktech 6000a, works amazing! Twice I tried the avapow first and it wouldn't work, and then the Flylinktech worked perfect! The avapow is built well bit the auto sensing circuits are not designed well. You need a starter that has an override or boost button. Do not buy this junk.
