Absolutely stunning watch. The blue dial dresses it up and makes it stand out. Nice deep royal blue. I am returning this as it does pull at the small hairs, something I personally don’t tolerate well. I’m a size 6 bracelet, and you can see that the photos show a good amount of links for the larger wrist and also the ability to remove for a smaller size. The date is a useless feature. You can’t see it to adjust let alone read it. They just should have left it off. Doesn’t detract from the watch in anyway, just don’t count on this feature if you are reliant on it being there. I've always loved Bulova watches; I haven't owned one since I got out of the Navy in the early 80's. When I bought this watch, it was $144 with TAX, now it's over twice that price - so I got a pretty good deal there (and I bought the watch new). The Blue Mother-of-Pearl Dial gets so many compliments and since I were reading glasses and I'm a little bit older I have no trouble reading the dial, except in the evening hours as the watch not as luminous as they advertise! The band itself is a little bit thicker than I normally wear but I had no trouble with the clasp and it's very comfortable to wear. I noticed some reviews said that this watch "frequently returned" but I I've had this watch over a year now and it's kept perfect time (of course with daylight savings time 'spring forward fall behind you have to hand set it' - but that's no problem). All in all, a very nice personal SPLURGE and with 3/4 sleeves, with that beautiful gold tone, it goes with just about every outfit I have. ... show more

I would give this watch a “zero” if it was possible. Good looking but there are no instructions in the box on how to adjust the band or release the band to take the watch off your wrist . Once I figured how to open the band it was VERY difficult to do. Two very basic functions. No wonder Amazon puts a warning that this watch is returned often. The people of Bulova surely do not understand their potential customers. This good looking watch is going to be returned like many others. ... show more
