I love this cat litter! It changed my life! I had an issue with it months after purchasing and they were quick to reply and send a replacement although I think it was user error :(. Would definitely recommend and I was ready to repurchase if necessary. One tip is to get a bottle of canned spray or a "blower" to keep racks clean and clear of litter. Again, definitely loved this. Don't overthink it. It's worth it. Good quality, good size and design, keeps my house free of odors and works wonderfully.

My cats have been using our petcove for about 7 mths. It was easy to get setup. Cats took a little time to want to use it since I kept the old one up next to it. If I was braver I could remove the old but I didn't want to risk it. The app is helpful to see more than you ever wanted to know about your cats poop habits. It's nice if you have multiple cats to see who is using it by the weight of the cat. Our's came with a piece that sets on the front of the unit to keep the cats from using the box near the entrance to avoid anything coming out, my cats do not like when it's on so I can't use it but it still works fine. Easy to take apart and clean when needed. Everything works as advertised.

I so badly wanted to love this litterbox. My cats pee and poop on the prongs for the cleaner in the back. The clumps get stuck behind it which keeps it from going back home and it just runs until someone notices. We spend more time cleaning it now then we ever did and I would be surprised if it lasted very long ar all. Good idea but it needs to block the back so they can't go in the back of the box. Update: the company reached out and said I had a defective machine and sent me a new one! Customer service is amazing, will update again after testing out the new box! Update: so far the new litter box is working perfectly! I am extremely happy with the ease of use and no longer having to clean the box. Setup is easy and my cats love using a clean box every time!

Wish I could do half stars. 3.5. Nice large size, compartment to store is ideal. Maybe my issues are just because of my cat, but I could unfortunately never use it as intended. He goes in the same place almost every time, near the front on the curved part where the rake would scoop into the box. Then, I don’t know if he’s smelling the used litter in the compartment or what, but he kicks clean litter all over the top of the compartment lid. If I used it auto as intended, it would constantly dump litter on the floor in front of the box every time it raked. I have to sweep the litter back into the box and then open the compartment drawer a little bit and flip the lid up so that any stray litter goes into the compartment. Also, it seems like his clumps are too large to be raked up properly. The couple times that I tried it, a lot stuck to the rake. One week he was finally not peeing so much and I turned it on. The motor sent the rake to the front of the box, stopped, and never moved again. I cannot reset it with the buttons, by unplugging it or doing anything else. So unfortunately, I have a rather pricey manual box with a nice drawer in the front that I can use to store the waste. All of these auto boxes are trial and error on whether they’ll work for you though.

Life changer for our family. Our cat has idiopathic cystitis and maintaining a clean litter box is essential for her wellbeing. This box self scoops after every use so the box is always clean. The open top is great. We had a circular self cleaning box before this one and found that soiled litter would stick to the top when it spun around to clean itself. I had clean litter but my cat had a filthy back from bumping into the top. This litter box doesn’t have that problem with the open top. Very happy with this purchase.

This is the FOURTH 'self cleaning litter box's I've tried, and this one's the winner. Initial rough start, but Tech Support (via text, best route) sorted that. What's Great: 1) Open Top plus Good size: Much safer, especially for skittish cats; or done-based / 'spin-based' options = controversial cat safety (Google it) 2) Double Pass 'Raking': Raking is better than the 'dome based spin' ones (which basically sift clumps & put into bin. As we all know, the moister clumps will stick). Raking systems are better & Purrtek Light will do a second pass to dislodge & dump any clumps that it 'skewered' on the 1st pass. 2) Nice Size dump bin, easy to maneuver for cleaning. 3) Infrared Sensors Good, including on raking component i.e. raking will stop if it detects motion (works well) 4) Extremwly quiet & slow - which is very good! My meek/skittish kittens are not afraid of it at all! 5) Raking prongs are silicone covered except for tips, nice touch. 6)East to take apart & clean plus option to add a cover (not my preference, open top is safest as 'last resort / cat can jump out' option The Not-So-Good (but not enough to remove a star): 1) The app for the Purrtek Light vs the newer dome/spinner models is neglected a bit. Hello, some of the menu options are in Chinese (!!) Once I worked with Support I got it to work for exactly what I need. But would love to see the same level of sophistication for the app across all Petcove models, especially since this open top raking system is FAR superior to the 3 others I've tried. Overall, HIGHLY recommend this & I hope it holds up over the long term.
